So far it's working great! I experimented with a bunch of different tanks, Aspires, Protanks & their variants, etc. My favorite so far is still my Aspire BDC's with 2.2 coils, set at 3.8. Exactly the same as on my Spinners. No difference. I did use the SVD to check all the coils that I have, and there is a HUGE variance in the Kanger coils. A few of the BDC's were off, but most were what they were supposed to be. At this point I've decided that the SVD is fine for at home, but I'm just as happy with the Spinners for out & about. Color me disapointed. :glare:

Received mine the other day. I purchased it secondhand in great shape and put simply, I love it:w00t:. Rebuilt my rda for the very first time and came out with a single 2 ohm coil. Smacked it on my SVD and have been dripping like a nutcase ever since. I've caught new shiny toy syndrome from this thing. Now I am constantly looking at toppers which match it's sexy:facepalm:. Either way I'm really glad I grabbed one despite the button fussing I've read about.

And the button has started to fail, less than a month in. GRRRR!

The mother in laws works fine still, mine randomly switches off and keeping a decent contact is virtually impossible. I really like the look of this thing but seems the button issue has caught me.

Saying that, I pretty much vaped on it for a month solid (I am a heavy vaper) and was cheap enough, but gutted it's only lasted a short time before crapping out :(

I have to hit the button on the bottom and almost roll my thumb up to get a hit, not exactly easy out and about, and if I get it slightly "off" the thing will shut down.

Nice looking mod though, will come in handy for checking battery life and resistance on coils (the other buttons are fine, and I can turn it on if I hit the button enough times!)

I just ordered an SVD from VaporEngine.com on Sunday, and I can't wait for it to arrive! I was a little concerned about the button issues, and I was pretty much convinced I didn't want to spend $140 on it. Then I realized that technically I'm only paying $50, because the batteries, chargers, and tanks would all still work even if the SVD fails. So as long as I get at least 6 months out of the device I will be happy.

I will come back and post some pics of my set-up when it arrives, which should be Thursday or Friday at the latest.

I came to the same conclusion. The batteries & charger work with many things, so that's money well spent, and even if the switch fails & I move on to something else, at least I can use it to test coils & such. So far I'm really happy with mine. Everything has gitches, it's just getting used to them.

Hi everyone! Just received my SVD today and am really enjoying it. It's my third Innokin mod, the first being an iTaste VV V3, second was an MVP V2 and now the SVD.
One quick question I hope somebody can help me with. What's the point of getting the longer extension tube? I purchased the Express Kit which came with the "standard sized" tube, around 1.9" long. They sell the long tube, which is around 2.6" long.

Innokin SVD Long Tube - Kidney Puncher

I'm able to stack 2 18350's or use 1 18650 perfectly fine in my SVD. What battery sizes/combo's could I use with the longer tube?
Thanks much!

I have the same one you have. I remember reading somewhere the Long tube was more comfortable to hold. I've had mine for 8-10 months. I use 18500 or 18650 battery's in mine. I've never seen a need for the longer tube.

I've now been using my SVD for about a week, and so far I love it :D

My only complaint is that the button is a little sensitive, and I'm worried that means it's going to fail eventually. Basically whenever I am taking a pull off of it if I let up on the button even a tiny bit it stops firing, but as long as I keep the button pressed it works perfectly.

Quick update on my SVD now that I've had it for about 3 months. Up until recently it was working flawlessly. Does have its minor shut down on its own and noticed that the firing buttom was starting to act up.

I started applying more pressure to the firing button . That seems to have done the trick but I am a little concerned that it will eventually go out.

Nevertheless I ordered a backup mod a nemesis clone and a 3d dripper which I've been wanting to try out for a while.

If my SVD goes out I'm going to go for the Big Kahuna the itaste 134 cause I still appreciate the Innokin quality. I'll take apart my SVD at that point and try to fix it if it comes to that.

That's just about exactly where I am, thunder1, except I got a Sigelei 20W.

Can you let us know how that goes? With pictures?

Has anyone who did not buy the Fastech "Authentic" SVD got the fire button problem? It seems to me that everyone who has said they have the problem, bought it from FastTech.

My SVD died on Sunday. From the beginning I had to press the button harder for it to work, and then on Sunday it would just constantly fire. Had to pull the battery out. Shame as I really liked it. Now got MVP2 to use. So make sure you have a backup, but while working, the SVD is great.
