Why do you suppose that is? I'm only asking because I just ordered some Bloog blank cartos and an Elegant Easy XXL and now I'm a bit worried!

I think it has to do with the voltage consistancy.
I doubt if you have a problem using the Elegant.
Should work great...the cartos are tested to run at 2.8-3.0 ohms.

Mrsocean: Because they are made for eachother. I get 4 diff experiences with my stuff, cus diff brand cartos react diff.. Kanger bat and Kanger carto, work great together. Smoore batt and carto work ok.. But switch cartos they act weird..

Papabloog: Its funny how we people crave a bit of disaster... All the harmony, bores people after awhile.. Just think of Matrix. BTW the Darwin thread is much worse than this.. Grown men doing full blown teenage girl discussion:pop:, with deleated posts and everything.. Like an episode of Hills.. Maybe I'll accidently put my review in the modders forum:censored:

Personally, I have witnessed first-hand family and friends, and their families and friends, and so on either start or complete the transition from analogs to e-cigs, or quit analogs altogether. All of this has happened since I introduced these folks to KR808D-1 tech and all this over the last 2 1/2 months. Based on my introduction, I estimate currently that between 45-48 smokers that are now either ex- or soon to be ex analog smokers thanks to the KR808. This is a staggering rate of success unheard of with other "so-called" remedies - patches, nic-gum, therapy, hypnosis, chantix, snus each of which have a proven track record of failure. The KR808 tech is an incredible device that will ultimately improve (and already has) in areas of performance and quality. You simply cannot argue with success.

No quarrels here, however. Isn't the purpose of e-cig tech to provide smokers a means to address their addiction by providing a safer alternative to smoking? I posted this review to help others find a low cost, high-quality solution that I know works and that I know will work for nearly anyone attempting to modify their behavior and habits. Whether or not a big box mod works for some provided they can fit this into their lifestyle, or if a 510, 801, 901, ego or any other of the hundreds of devices work to achieve this objective is not the point of this discussion.

The fact is: that KR808D-1 technology has a proven track record of performance, reliability, and use AND carries with it one of the highest success rates in transitioning smokers away from analogs.

The KR808 tech has such a low entry cost and could save those looking for e-cig alternatives a real chance at kicking the tobacco habit. At a bare minimum, it would certainly help those considering an e-cig alternative to steer clear of vendors peddling sub-standard product with high cost entry points such as Vapcig and Neverlightagain (NLA) - products that I personally lost money on.

The fact that Bloog has recently made substantial improvements in quality, performance and reliablity of this already proven tech in their MaxX Fusion line is more reason than ever to try this product as a starting point. For those who sincerely want to improve their health by modifying their behavior, this outstanding product should at a bare minimum, be considered.

I would like nothing more than to see everyone quit tobacco use, as I and my wife were able to, with this technology. For anyone considering this as an alternative, feel free to PM me if you purchase this product and find that it doesn't meet your needs and I'll do what I can to aid you in your transition.

Well, I for one wish you and your wife the best. I try not to assume everyone who makes enthusiastic testimonials is a secret vendor or has some ulterior motive. I suspect that sometimes long-time vaping veterans can almost forget the rush that comes with stumbling upon these inventions, and how contagious enthusiasm can be....it's hard to keep it to yourself.

I have also helped convert at least three people who have shown interest in my vapor sticks. I refer them to this forum and I also share my experiences with them even though I tell them that everyone has their own idea of the perfect PV experience. However, I do wish I had known someone like me when I started: someone who could let me test drive their liquids, hardware, etc so that I could make an even more informed decision and saved more money in the beginning. Someone to guide me towards the best vendors for service/price/quality would have been great. Yes, the forums are a bundle of awesomeness, but it still is helpful to get input from someone you know.

I also cringe when I see a newbie come on board, all full of excitement and enthusiasm about their new Blu (or whatever 'starter' brand) only to have some Debbie Downer tell them they made a stupid purchase that they'll soon regret and how they've essentially wasted their hard earned money. That kind of negativity is bs in my book, and totally unnecessary. We all started somewhere and making a positive switch to PVs of any kind should be embraced and encouraged. People will find their own way.

I think you will be pleased. I am using the Bloog carto on my Vapor King batt and it's working very well! These cartos ROCK!

Wow you answered my question on this too. Seems like we're headin' down the same vapin' road. Last answer you gave me was that the pigcig had more umph than the elegant, now is that the mini elegant, I think it said 650 mah or do you have the Elegant XXL that is suppose to be 1300 mah(?).

I'd like to get the elegant xxl if it has the umph that the pig cig has but it'd be nice if it came with two bats like the elegant mini's.

Also, do you know if the chargers interchange with pigcig and easy elegants? Although I know you can't use them on the reg 808 chargers, so I hear.

As for bloog, I'm hopin' they come out with a manual & manual XL. What would you compare the bloog battery you have to? Better than the XL V4L? Can you use the bloog on the 808 chargers?

So much to keep track of ... it truly is like a hobby ... little did we know.

I also saw a T-Rex which looks like a 510 but it has a metal button not plastic which doesn't light up ... but the middle diameter of the battery lights up. Then I seen the defender which looks similar to the mini easy elegant.

So many decisions!

Well ... thanx SamsMom and everyone else.

Take care y'all

The Elegant I had was the mini, not the XL. I never tried to change the chargers on them so I can't answer that question - I just used the one that came with each.

The Bloog battery is the best auto I have tried and I have had the 510, RN4081, KR808D-1 from V4L, and the DSE901. The Bloog requires much less effort on the draw than any of the others I mentioned.

I use a manual batt most of the time at home but like the auto when I go out for a drink at the bar - lol!

I haven't tried to charge the Bloog on my 808 chargers but I'm sure they will work.

I would love to have a manual bloog also and Leaford says that they are coming. I will definitely have to get one of those.

The Bloog cartos work great on the V4L 808 batts.

That's all I can tell you at this time - wish I could say more but I am still in the "evaluation" stage!

Ok I received a Bloog battery and five coffee cartridges three days ago. I agree that the Bloog battery is awesome for those of us who prefer a cigarette like device. It delivers a ton of vapor and has great throat hit. I am, however, not impressed with the cartomizers. Out of three I have tried, two have immediately delivered that horrible burned taste. I was able to drip 25 drops of liquid into a new cartomizer only a few minutes ago after I tried one puff from the pre-filled and got that burned taste. As I said, this was the second of three cartomizers I have used. The one that did work was great although it tastes nothing like coffee. I was about to order more, but it is hard to come up with a reason to do that if I have to pay $20 for a battery and can't get cartomizers to work out of the box. Side by side with my Vapor4Life battery, I can't tell much difference. I do like it, but I can't afford experimenting when 2 of 3 cartomizers do not work. If this is an anomaly, I would appreciate a response from Bloog.

Sherid - if you wouldn't mind, could you send me one of the cartos that burned? I have a friend doing cartopsies on the Bloogs to see if there are any signs of burning. I think he's done 12 different cartos from different owners and hasn't seen any burning yet - kind of begs a question.

You did order the MaxxFusion cartos, yeah? The Fusion line is the (now-dated) 808 technology - and, we all know that if your wick ain't wet, it gets burned. The MaxxFusion is a completely new approach that almost guarantees no burning. Also, if you ordered the Fusion Kit and Not the MaxxFusion kit - I'd return it and get the Maxx.

My first goto was V4L - I was the first vaper on the block and I recommended this to a lot of people that have already also quit smoking. When I got my Bloog - I handed out a large number of Maxx blanks to friends and they've used these on their V4L batts without issue and have actually noticed a substantial difference in performance. From your experience - sounds like you may have order Fusions - which are only slightly better than V4L and, in a side-by-side, a user would probably have a hard time telling the difference.

OTOH, if you did order the MaxxFusion blanks - and have burning, PM me and I'll have the coroner do the cartopsy.

;-)

Why a drop down the middle? Also, how long do you let them sit before vaping and which end is up? I'm still trying to figure out why I'm having such difficulty with these new cartos. TIA

iput a drop down the middle to make sure that the tube material is saturated. i dont let them sit at all, i just fill and vape. how many drops are you putting in the carto? it is ALWAYS better to overfill them a little. just make sure you blow out the excess so that you dont flood the atty. i know you waste a little juice this way, but the carto is never too dry when you first vape it.
