Imeo, are there any dimensional differences in the SS mouthpiece from the original plastic one

firght i think the new top cap is just a screw on piece added to the old cap so if you remove the additional screw on piece you'll have yourself a UFS with the old top cap. At least thats how im understanding it
You hit the nail on the head Wes!. The new top cap simply screws into the same threads the first run pieces had the mouthpiece screw into. Since there has been such a demand for the new cap, Imeo is making it standard on this next huge release of 500 pieces. 
I guess im missing something here???????, Are you going to be able to use either the GG mouthpiece OR a regular 510 tip? Or is it ONLY going to use with the 510 tip, and if you can use both will it be coming with a GG mouthpiece?

The new UFS "top cap" is merely a screw in piece that replaces the mouthpiece. It allows longer attys/cartos to fit without modification and to use a tip of your own choice. As released it was an add-on and the mouthpiece was standard.
On this next run, Imeo has said the new piece is going to be standard. That simply means it is replacing the mouthpiece as it is shipped. If for some reason you want to add the original style mouthpiece, you buy that, remove the new standard piece and screw in the original style mouthpiece.
So the original mouthpiece will be the add-on for this next batch.
Oh!! Ok. Cool So you still have both options but if you want the GG mouthpiece you willl have to buy it extra. Thanks for clearing that up. I can be a little slow sometimes

I still like my original SS mouthpiece to use w/510 attys. I only use the new top cap for XL DC cartos and LR 901's.

Do you just use a 510 to 901 adapter to use the LR 901s?

Yes, that then takes the 901 just high enough to need the top cap. My SS SuperT dt then sits down into the top cap a little farther so it looks similar but not quite like a shorty SS tip.
Thanks for the tip for some reason I am having much better luck with 901 attys then 510 so I will have to try that when I get a UFS.
+1 Fright. I am loving the 901's. Of course I haven't tried a UFS yet but as good as the 901's are in the AVS, I can't imagine them being any worse in a UFS.
Of course that will be half the fun - trying which atty's and cartos our individual taste buds prefer with them!
