Hmmm. Maybe you can just call it the UFS revision B or UFSv1a. :)

Man, that would be some impressive acronym soup for someone's forum sig. SSGGTS+UFSv1a. oº/

You know, now that I think about it, maybe this error will make them more valuable, like a postage stamp that was printed upside down or a coin struck with two heads. They'll be the rarest of the rare, and will inspire the greatest of envy among GG collectors!

Not a bad idea about the name rojo, I like it!:)

I am sure Imeo will let us know what the difference is but my guess and it is no more than a guess at this point, is that the new steel connectors likely have a thread like the Stealth caps does and would not be compatible with first run SS GGTS or first run UFS.

It is also a possibility that the window threads are different. Recall Imeo listed that he was going to make the window threads longer for better stability. I know this sounds a problem but like many have said, these are still desired just as much as the first run if not more so.

At any case, even if the new UFS has to be called UFSv2, it will still sell out just as fast. Any additional parts that have to be made can be made as say connector v1 or connector v2. There is a precedent for this already as for the name differences in the AVS and AFS feeder systems.

Just my musings that may have no importance but I again reiterate that I don't see this as a show stopper. It simply means the UFSv1 and UFSv2 parts are not interchangable. Just my 2 cents.

Steel connectors will fit on previous batch. CT will fit too. CR will fit. Inside connector pieces will fit. Base of UFS will fit, new cap will fit

steel window, clear window, extension and cap will not fit. Thats the differences.

As for the changes on UFS, I did all the changes I said exept the threads. I left them at the length they had because I saw that longer threads reduced its liquid capacity at about 1,5 ml. I cant find a reason to reduce its capacity just to make a more robost clear window. Its ok as it is right now. I am just looking for details sometimes that will not make a big difference. But I have to balance the advantages and disadvantages of each change. And the balance went to the liquid capacity side this time.

So you picked up 008?

I made a deal to purchase it from Aldo a couple of days back. I have not heard further from him but if has quit vaping, I doubt he spends much time on the forums anymore.

So yeah, I have accepted his terms and he mine in writing. Just a question of finishing the shipping. Hopefully that is all it is. I would be one upset old man if for some reason I don't get it after saying it was mine. It's not every day you get a chance to own a single digit GG anything! :)

Thanks for sharing with us the details Imeo! And I for one am happy you chose to stick with the 1.5ml juice over the window.:thumb: Until you advise us to continue the count we will remain at 6 days and holding until UFS season begins!

The anticipation only makes the excitement that much bigger for when they are ready to be shipped!

Thanks and I got an unexpected bit of flow or I wouldn't be able to do both. It's almost like it was meant to be. Even so, I wont be buying anything but supplies for the next while. But who cares if I manage to pull off a UFS and #008 all in the same month. I would call that a good year for me!

Update on UFS:

I went today to the machines and we talked about some things, but first of all I want to say that new parts will still fit on older parts but they are not made exactly for each other as I want. Thats why I said that they will not fit at all.

As for the parts that are an exactl fit:

steel connector
CT
CR
new cap for bigger atomizers

The base of UFS will still fit the steel window. Its a nice fit because of the o-rings, it will not leak for sure but it has less threads that keep one piece to the other.
The upper piece will fit the steel window exactly as the base of UFS. So it still fits but it has less threads
The cap may not fit. So the issue is maybe only with the cap
The clear window will not fit either because it has longer threads. I finally desided to make threads longer but I made UFS 2mm taller and clear window thinner to keep the quantity of liquid we had in previous batch.

Thats the final adjustments that I made. On Monday I am starting to assemble. I hope in a week to be ready for shipping. We are still on scedule!

Its my top cap that has taken the abuse plus I know someone I shared with with wants to replace his (since I dented that one, too!!! 8-o8-o8-o).........maybe I had better order a replacement now from Bruce.....

Looking good, Imeo, thanks for ameliorating my misgivings!:thumb:

It really sounds like you prefer 69

Great news on the UFS! :thumb: Thanks.

HoPeFuLLL has 69 covered in all versions I believe -- does that sound right? I just picked up SS #045 -- woo-hoo, divisible by 9!!! <----math geek love!

Well only two things of slight interest occurred in #1377.

1) Jan 17 - Pope Gregory XI moves the Papacy back to Rome from Avignon on this day in history.

2) Feb 03 - Mass execution of population of Cesena Italy on this day in history.

And in #587

Nov 28 - Treaty of Andelot: King Guntram takes cousin Childebert II as heir on this day in history.

Even this history geek's a bit disinterested in these saddening historical results.
