I have been investigating p.v. / E-cig devices for the last week, the information I have sifted through has led me to two purchases: a standard 510 kit from ZigCigs and seven 3ml bottles from the supplier identified in this topic.

The array of options in this nascent product arena led me to try a very expensive product offering in conjunction with one of the cheapest (the ZigCigs being the expensive and the juice from Strictlyejuice being the cheap). My reasoning is not flawless, however I am excited to exit the scene of analogues and hope that an American device supplier will provide me with product which enables me to test "the taste field."

I look forward to participating in this evolving discussion with opinions based on experience--however for now, I simply would like to thank everyone for their experiences and observations. I look forward to updating and potentially contributing my experiences to the community at large.

Thanks,

Well...the atty definitely is not a "clone". It's differences are pretty obvious in this picture.

l2%20510%20atomizer.jpg

The site says their kits are a Joye & DSE product. So it seems they are made by the same company which makes all those 510s everyone loves oh so much. If their advertising is false then the outcome of such a claim should be no surprise to those at StrictlyEjuice.com.

We can only hope companies keep producing different atomizers in attempts to make them better!

If someone has actually tried this EXACT type of atty before please, let us know what you think of it but let the facts make your decisions. Not some strange adoration of a Chinese manufacturer.

I should be receiving one of those L2 starter kits tomorrow and I will post a review after I've given it a good day or two of use.

@bluesuede: Joliet (the OP) said she was tired of ordering from China...Strictly is based out of California. Not so hard to comprehend.

@Frostmonkey
Finally! I have been searching the forums for info on the new style atomizer and couldnt find anything :-x I would really like to try this new style but it appears that strictly only offers them in kits and all the other sites I have been to dont specify what type theirs is. I assume the "L2" designaton on their site is just their branding? I dont NEED an atomizer or batt right now but I want to have spares in reserve as I dont want to fall back on analogs if my current ones fail or get lost damaged or just die. If you have any info on where these can be purchased and/or if you have any info on reviews or comparisons of the different styles , it would be greatly appreciated.
I received my 510 starter kit from cignot on Monday and havent touched an analog since. I am happy with the juice from cignot but I think I will try strictly just because they have really cheap prices AND they offer them in 3ml sizes. Since I am just starting out , I dont know what flavors I am going to like and I dont want to order a bunch of juice that I am not going to use if I dont like it.
Thanks to all the posters in this thread for all the info.

I haven't found these type of atomizers anywhere else, and yes L2 is likely the label StrictlyEjuice has named them which may be different from the Chinese manufacturer's name for it. If you can wait these L2 atomizers will be sold by StrictlyEjuice individually in a week or two (but maybe more, who knows, the holidays mess everything up). If not, you might be able to contact Joye directly and order some, although then you have to deal with the shipping costs and US customs :-x.

The only experiance I've had with atomizers has been with standard Joye 510s and a...ressurected/mod...version I'm now using (I'll post more on this tonight when I get to a good camera. It's a bit early to say for sure but I seriously think I ressurected a 43 day old "dead" atty 8-o!!!)

I can say choosing Cignot was a good idea. I've heard nothing but great reviews about them and I actually just ordered some atomizers from them myself. Their Ecopure liquid is also excellent!

It's a very good idea to make your first juice purchases in small amounts and try a bunch. I didn't and got lucky but now I'm switching up flavors daily. Vaping on StrictlyEjuice cappuccino swirl atm :D. I'm also a big fan of RY4.

And now Dawn over at DIYflavorshack.com is making a pomegranate and caramel macchiato!!! I will soon be in vaping heaven...

The Yeti I ordered from atlsmoke had the new style atomizer. Works just fine.

Ahhh! I didn't know they were selling these new versions. Glad to hear they work well. After a few days I think I'm going to do a video review of the two different types...on second thought I might wait awhile so I can comment on its durability.

Clone enough. There are quite few discussions on these and other forums regarding the DSE510 atties. DSE has cloned the entire Joye 510, everything is completely interchangeable (although some have reported a poor fit with Joye carts), even the box size of their kit and parts list.

Mini electronic cigarette DSE510 Hot! DSE510 mini electronic cigarette CN;GUA

Folks like Vapor Country are up front about the DSE parts and has been offering them as a lower priced alternative to Joye for a while now.

7. DSE-510

Although Strictly uses some creative terms to describe it:

l2%20510%20All%20%284%29.jpg

Read that as Joye doing the designing and SLB/DSE doing the manufacturing, true enough I guess. If you scroll down the product listing you'll see this:

  • Model: 510
  • Manufactured by: DSE's SLB
Hopefully you'll like it. The ohms of the atty are different and it doesn't produce the heat that the Joye's do, which is probably responsible for the heavy vapor and throat hit that put Joye on the map.

For those interested you can get a true Joye 510 for the same price.

Joye 510 NO BOX

Good folks to deal with too.

I just sent an email and got a reply back is about 15-20 minutes. Heres what Jane said.
" We'll definitely be listing our attys soon, in about a couple of days. All of our items are slowly trickling in. And thank you so much for visiting ECF."
I am interested in the details on this new atty. Judging by the photos you posted it looks like about 50% more surface area from the element? Not sure though as I dont think the 2 photos are exactly proportional. It does look like the internal diameter is a little smaller and the walls thicker. Cant wait to see a side by side comparison.
It's a bit early to say for sure but I seriously think I ressurected a 43 day old "dead" atty !!!)
:evil:WITCH !! Burn her/him!!
That will be interesting to see. If you pulled off a reliable way to do that you'll have to change your nic to "The Re-Animator"

I can say choosing Cignot was a good idea.

Yeah, no complaints.

Arrgh , so many choices. That sounds awesome. I'm mixing the cappuccino and english toffee and love it , cant wait to try some of the flavors. I think I will even try 3ml of bubblegum just for kicks.

Well Data4 if you recall we have had problems with our petfood being poison and our toothpaste being poison all of which came from China.
I am going to try and stick with US made juice when at all possible although I am a newbie and it is difficult knowing since a lot of vendors seem to repackage China juice with their own labels.

Hey everyone Mist-sticks juice is nly $9 bucs a bottle and is decent juice too !! I still think buying good nic juice though and flavoring it by yourself is the best and cheapest way to go, experimenting with small amount like 3-4 ml's per mix till you find what you like then mixing bigger bottles helps me a great deal... and it's not hard to do as long as you get a good quality nic juice, and theres a ton of good flavor sellers, you all know there names....
