Looks like Brian has been busy over in China. Just got this sneak peak of the new bodies/shells he's working on. What do you think?

I use the tenergy life po4 3v stacked, they work very well with the 2.8 silo cartos.

Aren't the Tenergy 3v the ones they constantly warn about, as being incapable of more than 1C drain, and what caused that recent very nasty accident, landing the guy in the hospital?

XLian, Kat, reporting for duty, Sir Tat!

I was concerned too, StraightV8per, when I read that you are stacking batts. I was amazed that you admitted it! :)

Tea, you beat me to the punch on these new shells! I love them. Favorites include the pink zebra (duh, of course) and the grey with black (the second one). I also like the wood. Seems a good choice of boy/girl styles. Tat, you don't like that last one? It's HOT!

Wow Tat -- I might even go for those blue flames!

Any other ideas out there?
They are bad huh, except I use my TV as my moniter and I see them as Purple and Magenta which is what sold me:w00t: But on the puter itself, I just saw that they show blue, still BAD!!! As far as other Idea's, the interwebz is full of 'em(Don't get me started:laugh:)

I've got two questions that you guys seem to be the right people to answer. I was interested in ordering an XL but they're out of stock. Does anyone know when they'll be back in stock again? And for the love of God, could someone please tell me what happened with this stacked battery accident I keep hearing about? My current mod uses two of those exact batteries, and I'm terrified everytime my wife pulls the trigger on it.

Sorry if this is considered a hijack, but I really need to know...

I don't know where -- but this might help---This was post #2325:

The "Vent-Stack" O-ring is the smaller one, here it is:
OD = 7.6mm , to find in store it would be more like 7.5mm
ID = 5.6mm, to find in store, it would be more like 5.5mm

OD= 11mm
ID=9mm
Wall thickness= 1mm
One O-ring size is used for both applications

Sorry if i misunderstood. BTW he also said lubricating them with juice helps them last, they're getting a lot of them, and they're working on a different type of gasket.

I have stalked both the Vmod and the XL thread relentlessly for a LONG time but have decided to make my first post. I love this device and am primarily a carto user. I recently got a few shorty cartos from madvapes 1.7 ohm and like the output on 3.7 volts. However they appear to be vertical coil. (the coil sticks up from the fill material) Since these carts have a reduced amount of filler it isn't a problem to keep the whole fill moist but I am getting a slight "burnt/harsh" taste after a day or two of use. I was wondering if this is an issue with vertical cartos and bottom feeders not being compatible or something with the carts themselves.

Welcome, AlmightyDun!

*I'm missing someone now, but I can't remember who...*

As far as most people have said, either carto is fine on the VMOD. A burnt or harsh taste is always due to a dry carto, no matter where the coil is or in what position. Once a carto gets that burnt taste, it's due to be filed under "G"... for garbage.

C'mon VMODians, I can't be the only voice in the crowd! :)

I agree with Kat --- is everyone on vacation?

@Almightydun - Try doing a "dry pull" after you fill the carto. This might help get the juice up into the carto better. And, even though it isn't necessary, I'll occasionally add a couple drops from the top.

Don't be too concerned -- Sometimes I can keep a carto going for several days, sometimes only a couple.....it doesn't seem to matter which Mod I use or which brand, type, size or color of carto I use.

Also -- do fill your carto's before first use, even with a feeder.
