warum ich den so mag ;o)[/url]

Ganz einfach, problemlos ! Oder... Very easy, trouble free !

So into week 2 with the XL. I have been taking a few other PV's with me to work with the XL. Ego C set up, Ego battery with carto, Ego battery DCT tank somehow they end up staying on the desk. I had got used to not carrying around tissue paper. When the tank for my ProVari shows up, eventually, I will give that a go. The Mini is set up for the wife with 6mg nic that is being steadfastly ignored so will leave that alone for a while.

Been playing with 5v batteries. Perform magnificently with a 2.2 ohm atty on a new charge for about 3 drags then anemia strays into the equation as the voltage rapidly drops. Pop in a 1.5 ohm atty and you are ok with the battery actually pumping out 4.5 volts of it's 4.8 claimed however quickly drops to 4.2 after 5 minutes or so.

Still a nice vape however I would have kept the $20 I paid for the batteries and charger in my pocket if I had of realized or bought a HH357. Still perhaps the batteries need to get used to the charging cycle but I suspect not. Will persevere with them for a week before calling it a complete bust.

Update! New o'rings coming soon! These will be in the run of XL and 2.0 coming in now for those who have ordered and waiting for back orders along with the o-ring kits.

The "Blue" o-ring is a harder compound, lasts much longer, and is less prone to pulling out or failing. Vapage cycle tested pass 2000 atomizer changes and it was showing no signs of wear.

Here's a picture and a tip from Brian:

In the o-ring photo you can see where the o-ring is placed. If you look just above it there is a dark grove--this is where the air in-take is. Do Not put the lower o-ring there. it will cut the air-flow in half or more. Of course, if you want less air I guess you could place it there...lol!

good to see Brian is "on it"... that looks nice. And good news on more supplies of XL's coming soon.

regarding RMA, for peeps that sent their VMods in for repair, makes me think they need to get on top of their orders before they can send out replacements. With the cracked housings i'd think they would have to just send a new unit.

after several weeks of testing a variety of O-rings (size and hardness) came to the following conclusions:

- Optimum hardness: NBR70 (slightly harder than the original)
- The optimal size of the lower O-ring: 9x1 mm
- The optimal size of the upper O-ring: 9x1 too! (its better than 6 or 7x1mm)
- The original bottle replace seal the assumed two-ring on the tip of the bottle: first, assuming 5.7 x1, 2 mm and above it 6x1mm
- Where the air flow is too large O-ring assuming 5.7 x1, 2 mm on atty, under the nose cone

This configuration is optimal for me,

My addition to the battery without trip plus: joined a little bit of tin and switch works perfectly !!

The hybrid atty I got is at 1.5 ohms. For the most part, I use carto's, 2.0 from boge. Just really wondering what most people prefer with the vmod. And if I switch from the hybrid to my usual boges, if I can shorten the learning curve.

I exclusively vape 6v with vmod xl and vapage 2.8 silo cartos, perfect vape for me and oh so simple and at 3 bucks a pop how can u beat it? Most of them last me at least 2 weeks.

Hey guys
I've just got my Vmod XL, first PV for me. Really nice mod, very easy to use and the no constant refilling thing is a delight.
I'm having a little problem though. The carto is overflowing sometimes (like 2 times today). I'm using the Silo carto that came with it and both times I end up with liquid in my mouth and sounds like bubbles when I use it. Both times I opened it and there was some liquid outside the carto! Any ideas what I'm doing wrong in here?

the key is how much juice you are putting in the atty. Sounds like you are over feeding it. Cut down.. sometimes it's better to have less. At least then you can add a little more. Practice shorter squeezes. Work on your squeeze technique.

I agree with ukeman, the cartos are easy to overfeed. When u turn the vmod upside down and see the bubble, flip it back over and give it one gentle squeeze and that is usually all u need for a few solid tokes.

I was squeezing it upside down. So you say that I should turn it over and the put it in the right position and THEN squeeze?

Here are the initial instructions. The Vmod doesn't require more than a tap -- no big squeeze needed, though some prefer to do it that way. With the XL there are many successful methods people have developed.

Feeding:

1) invert device & wait for juice to fill the bottleneck on the fill bottle. You may even wiggle it a bit & look for the air bubbles.

2) turn upright & squeeze the bottle.
(You will hear the pocket of juice release into the chamber.)

3) dry pull a few times to fill the Hybrid or Silo with juice from the chamber.

4) Vape

5) when atty or carto gets dry, do a couple of dry pulls again.

6) when chamber is empty...see #1

NICE! I have the same problem lol.... How to choose between the flowers and the pink zebra...???? A pink crackle would have been awesome too!
Looks like Brian has been busy over in China. Just got this sneak peak of the new bodies/shells he's working on. What do you think?

I can't decide --- that zebra is pretty sweet -- and I do like wood --- and then there's the flowers? Help!
