The drip tip that comes with the Vmod should fit in any 510 carto or atty. Suggest picking up a couple other styles/materials wherever you shop. Besides the fact that it can be fun to collect drip tips, there can be very slight variations in sizes on all equipment.

I really like the inexpensive transparent tips and the clear ones with the little ribbon that are sold tons of places. I admit, I like my more expensive ones, too----but have far from abandoned those quite economical tips.

Some of my silo's have become the everready bunny of carto's, lasting much longer -- so the price difference is moot. I'd like to see a 5 pack, though, as that is how I now buy all the others.

I've not been a clearomizer fan, period. I stay away from the clear plastic cases.

I agree, steel boge and steel smoke tek single coil are very good on the Vmod. Steel is better than the black as it is nicer on the o rings in the seal system.

1. Try just removing the bottle and look. Sometimes juice can "hang up" at the neck of the bottle with air lower and then more juice. That messes with things. Poke it (the juice) with a paper clip or something to get it back to it's correct place in the bottle.

2. Baths. Vmods could use a wash with hot water once and awhile. Just make sure it has plenty of time to dry so any water in the feeding area is gone.

Let us know!

I keep asking her if she doesn't need a new one, and she says "no, it's still fine". And she doesn't even need me to fill it, she's taken to actually pulling out the scale, weighing it, and dripping the Macaroon in until it hits 14.5 grams. SOME people!

Fernie, (ooo how cute is that), your wife WEIGHS her e liquid... in grams???

ROFL!

And I would add that you might want to give your atty a bit of a cleaning, whether that be an all-out cleaning (vodka/coke/hot water/ultrasonic/baking soda and vinegar/whatever), or a serious blow thru to clear it of some older juice.

ROFL!

Where you cant see how much liquid to add to a carto a scale is perfect. An EMDCC full of VG liquid weighs 14.5-15 grams. So you pop the driptip off and unscrew it from the battery and weigh it. Say it weighs 13 grams. You know you need to add about 1.5 g of juice.

Since VG is 1.2g per ml I measure out 1.25ml in a syringe and shoot it in. Takes seconds. She keeps the EMDCC on the scale and drips thejuice in until it weighs around 14.5g Same thing just slower. But no need for hubby's assistance. Sigh.

Hey! Just got my XL back after at least a month .... surprise.
It's a new one.
Almost forgot how to sqonk this baby.... put a new 1.5 Aero from Avid on and wow, you gotta keep this one wet.
It has 2 holes in the connector so it seems to be ok, just not getting enough juice in the coil yet.... but dripping is helping for now. I'll get it.
thanks for all the insight Fernand!

Ostinato -- that was great! Love it.

And Ukeman -- yea! Glad you got your XL back!

And to all -- new news -- Just heard that Vapage has new goodies in stock and are well stocked now on Vmod2s, XL's and supplies....including the universal atty (gold banded one). (So Fernand, time to stock up!)

The new o rings for the XL are available -- the new longer lasting and durable ones and......

New Bodies! (aka shells)

Textured anodized bodies are in and will be for sale on the site soon. They have an assortment of solid colors -- including blue, purple :) pink, green and gun metal. Brian said that the textured finish not only doesn't slip easily, it actually doesn't seem as cold as the plain anodized from before.

cool Tat.. a Kick; nice.
you know if you get it back like i did, they took really good care of me, in a new wrapped ala Carte box - meaning all the trimmings; a 2.0 bridge-less atomizer, a silo cart, d/t's and extra bottle!!! yes!
thanks for the prompts to claim warranty y'all..... it was worth the wait.

I been away a while, but kept up on the thread; so just call it "forgetting" .... do any of you use HH357's on the XL?
heck i'm usin them on everything now...that i got 'em. heheh
I like HH 1.5 LR on a 3.7 mod.... ego, whatever, for a couple weeks, then on a VV to spike it a tad. I'm sure the Kick would do it!
I like the free 2.0 or 2.2 vapage atomizers on a VV too; they seem to work best with a little more voltage.

Can't wait to get my XL back and give it a lil Kick:laugh:
