Temptation got the better of me so I broke out the Aero today.

Initially behaved liked you read about the 357 being very spitty. Put on a drip tip with a piece of plastic inverted at the base of the drip tip and as with other spitty atty's issue over.

Been vaping it for about 3 hours now and initially it is behind the Cisco LR 306 in terms of both flavour and vapor. Tried hitting it hard with short sharp draws as suggested and no real difference.

Let's see what 24 hours brings. It is certainly not really that much behind the 306 but certainly isn't exceeding it.

you're brave to try the Cisco 1.5 306 if that's what you have... i've been using 1.8's only for a long time as it was early on that i decided a good 1.5 was too hot for me....
the Aero did take a day to settle down, but i'm not a good squonker anyway...

I must say, Dana, I love Vapage Silos. They seem to last a bit longer than most of my other cartos, but I do also love Ressurectors. And I'm actually an atty girl who is now in a carto and tank phase of her vape life. What was said before is so true in my opinion: Keep them wet.

themysterious, have you used 5v vaping on your VMOD XL? Just curious. It's another one of my favorite vaping styles. Might heat things up a bit for ya.

Andy, I'm a big proponent in the idea of rotation. I have cleaned, not cleaned, rotated, not rotated. All in all, from my own experience, sometimes it doesn't seem to matter. In fact, I think I've actually RUINED some attys by cleaning them, which makes no sense, but hey, this is far from an exact science. I think I rotate because I get some funky taste and it IS time to clean them. That prolly didn't help to answer your question at all, LOL!

Tat, my sweet. Here's to you getting your XL soon!!!!!!!!! :toast:

you should be pleasantly surprised Sahil, i have both a Grand and an XL... both are really good, which is why the price point of the XL is amazing. The XL has a different look and different juice collar squonk design, which for me doesn't matter because i'm a lousy squonker... i try to err on the side of caution, because over feeding is worse than underfeeding imo. You can always add a little more, and to tell the truth, I often drip at home just to save juice for the road - although they both have large bottles. That's why i invest in good drip tips for all my mods... pyrex or SS. I like the Ming style steel ones. Both are good for dripping.I don't ever bother with cartomizers but hear there's some good things about them.

I've got too many mods, but would not give up either the XL or the Reo.

Thanks Andy but my question is do I need to buy them in stainless or not? When you say your using them right now are you using them in matte black? Does the matte black finish make it thicker so it wouldn't fit?
Yep.

Aero fits perfectly. Using it now. Cisco barrels are a little shorter than the Hybrid so do not rise above the cone.

The Long Barrel 357 will leave some barrel above the cone. Not enough to to stop me buying one when I have Atty room and they are available.

The color of the barrel makes no difference. The plating on the barrel is very minimal....
