Yea I followed the derections about blowing the extra primer out but I guess I didn't get all of it out its starting to fade a little but can still taste it . If it doesn't clear in a hour I will give it a vodka bath.I also got an aero 1.5 atty from avid has any one tried these?

Question for u vmod experts, any of u guys have a lea? Do u feel the vmod is way to airy with boge cartos? I get a better hit on my lea w/boge vs vmod w/boge. Whether its with the boge or hybrid on vmod it seems the vapor is not warm enough or too airy.... 7

I've gotta a question do you guys find it a really tight pull on the XL? My wife and I each got a XL in the mail last week. I havent used mine yet but, my wife has been loving hers the last few days. But earlier I let her hit my REO and she said she wished the pull was as easy on the XL as it was on my REO. So I took a pull off her XL and this thing is tight it hits great but the pull is really tight. I took it apart and tried different things but it still has a tight pull. Shes using a Lr 1.5 Joye 510. Any suggestions as to a fix or is it just the nature of the beast with this feed system? Thanks

Also on a side note I tried it with the Atty that came with it and that thing was so tight it was ridiculous pretty much useless I felt. But I drilled out one of the side holes to 1/8" and now that one hits as good as the Joye. So for any of you having troubles with it or dont like it maybe try drilling it.

Got my VapageXL, love it. Have a question, as there any way to tighten up the draw? It's a little free for my vaping.

That's two for too light of a pull and one for too tight of a pull. ;)

To tighten it up some, perhaps try using an o-ring on the outside of the atty, or see if covering one or more of the air holes on the cone helps tighten it up.

To loosen, perhaps try not screwing the atty/carto down as tightly.

I guess we all have our personal preferences...I know mine can change throughout the day even.

I havent tried the XL with a carto ( the one that came with it or a boge ). I may try it IDK? Im a atty guy I prefer dripping and bottom feeding to any other method. Im just wondering if somethings wrong with the wifes XL I mean i dont mind a stiff draw but Ive yet to get what I consider to be a resonablely stiff draw yet. I'll keep fiddiling with hers and give mine a try latter . I'm sure i can figure something out to get it going. Cause I know people vary with what they like. But theres no way any human could consider what my wifes XL is doing as loose or airy. So there has to be something too it.

Try giving it a good hot water wash.

Maybe it has a remnant of production left inside...a burr or a piece of plastic...

Just thinking out loud...

Well I ve gotten the wifes XL to loosen up on the draw a little. Gave it a good wash out, I noticed some juice in the air intake slit above the o-rings on the mod. I also turned the center post on the mod so the slot aims towards the fresh air holes on the bottom. Seems to be a little better. Still a tighter pull than what Im used to but considerably better than it was.

Seems like there should be a couple air holes on the collar like on the cone.

Yeah I did that sunday night and had better results but its still pretty tight. I may try blowing it out with the compresor latter.

OK here's a rehash:

1.take the beige cap that comes with the i06, clip or cut the 1/3 or so from the closed end; it has ribs so you want to snip those off.
2. from that end, slip it over the barrel of the i06
3. slip a 510/901 drip tip into the open end.

attach to connector, put the collar on, put the cone on.

the draw is a bit stiff, but i like it like that; ymmv.

* i used a dog nail clipper to cut my cap, but a carpet knife or box cutter should do; i just grabbed what was around.

Loved your instructions the first time, uke. I did mine with a hobby knife and an pretty decently sharp nail file to make it straighter and cleaner. I put it on opposite from you tho. The end I cut is holding the drip tip and the original open end is over the atty. I have no idea why, but it only seems to fit this one way for me. No bigs tho. :)

one of the best experiences with the vaping community has been that almost every company I have dealt with gave me stellar service. Above and beyond.
Vapage has also exceeded my experience. I had mentioned in this thread that I had forgotten to add my coupon code and sent them a message. Well, they are crediting me the difference.
I look forward to sending them more biz in the future!!

Yep, their customer service is top notch! I'm a firm believer that without good customer service, no business can be successful, and Vapage goes beyond "good customer service" into the rare realm of "great"!
