Sure did! I signed up for their newsletter so got that tidbit of info in my Inbox. ;) Can hardly wait until it gets here now. Just hope it doesn't take me long to get the hang of the squonking thing, lol. Now if I could just find a couple of juices that ... seems like everything I have right now just doesn't cut it. Oh ... question for anyone ... I have a few IKV 306 atties ... I'm assuming I'll be able to use those in this as well? Was just reading your signature, Tat-Skull, so am assuming here ...

I'm pretty sure they'll work, but can't say for sure. My XL ran STRICTLY on IKV 901's until I got a "Shifu" to try and well, lets just say my IKV 901's are just drippers for now!! And when you get it, try the tilt and vape method, I have NEVER "s worded" my XL except when I put the "Shifu" on and soaked it, so I "s worded" the bottle to create suction to pull out the excess:)

I had a chance to take some pics of the modification to the bottle area I did on my XL. Simple and easy and works a lot better for me since doing it. As you can see my bottle did get some wear marks on it from prior use originally. I was worried they would have affected the bottle, but it didn't. No leaks and most important, it vapes most excellently........

p.s. Sorry for using the "s word" in my earlier posts Tat..... I will try to be more careful in the future.....

Don't sweat it:laugh:Squoosh, Squirsh, squish, squash,8-osquonk8-o or any other(and I do believe I have left out quite a few:facepalm:) Their all good to say, only reason I don't say them is I don't do them:laugh:
Back in the day's in the Early OG VMod thread, so many words were thought up and used that it just got out of control, and rather than use any off them, well, I adopted the "S Word"

Finally tried my XL today, after it sitting unopened for 4 weeks while I played with other stuff - was trying to find the "juice" :)

Now I know what all the fuss is about bottom feeders!! Somehow, it just feels right in the hand, and you can't beat carrying around a 9 ml bottle of juice:D

I must say that reading through 1400+ posts was a bit daunting, but a lot of good info and advice here. A whole new world of atty's to occupy my attention ( currently using HH.357 ). Nice to hear that Vapage is one of the good retailers and stands by their product :)

Curious.......has anyone tried the Vapage Crystal XL Cartridge - 2.0ohm on their ego or 510-threaded batts?

Wondering how they perform.

Hey Racehorse!

It got several packages before I got my VMOD, and I really like them.
They're like stardusts, but with a bigger tank.

I don't know how you'll do with them though because I know you like juice that is high VG - that might have trouble wicking...

I spent this last weekend out of town at the NHRDA World Finals in Ennis, TX. I took both my Provari with various attachments and my VMOD. VMOD saw all the action this weekend while the Provari sat in my saddle bags all weekend lol. Next time I know to just leave the Provari at home. Though I like to carry extras for everything. Especially when I go out of town. I even brought 2 seperate battery chargers lol.

Finally caught up here lol. Now to go catch up on the bigger scarier threads...

I've experimented cutting down the wicks, I hate long wicks even though everyone else seems to like them.

Kat, Lettucehead, do you have any comments as to how they *compare* to the vision rebuildables or the vivi nova (which to me, is just a large vision rebuildable LOL).

As of yet, I don't have any vision RBAs, but I've always like the Crystal type of clearo. I can only compare this XL Crystal to the non RBAs, and I like it better by far. I do like and enjoy the Vivi Nova (mini) but in terms of a large capacity tank that has served me well for a couple of months (without changing the coil), I have to give props to the Vapage XL.

I'm also leaning towards short wicks, by the way. I have no problem wicking liquid with the short wicks and just don't care for the look or the grabbing of real estate inside the tank that comes from using the long ones.

Get a hair cut, you ol' hippie tank! ;)

Thanks for the feedback! I guess I'll try them out. Good point about the real estate those long wicks consume. For me, they start to wipe the sides of the tank and also when you twist the post assembly together, those long wicks start twisting and turning, and have a tangled character which doesn't provide good wicking, IMHO, esp. if using higher VG juice.

I looked at a few pics of cheaper 510 RBAs....closeup. The replaceable wicks had like 4-5 wraps around the wicks, and the wire was spaced out very far. Just can't see how these can give a good vape with that kinda design. I don't use more expensive equipment, it's not affordable for me, but I guess if I got an RBA I'd go for a more expensive one.

High VG and Long wicks is like adding honey to long hair, your gonna get dreads:laugh: I keep the long hair "clean" with High PG(for flavor rather than Vapor:thumbs:) Either or is good though, different strokes for different folks:)

Now as for High end RBA's versus "cheap" RBA's, well lets just say I've going a lil crazy with all this ne china craze, and I have to say that they perform Really good!! For a person on a budget or frugal even, the China Clone are not bad at all:2c:

I did it!
vmod xl + a7 rebuildable works fine (at least for now).

I do not like to take pictures, so I'll describe how I did it:

A7 adapter screwed to 510-510 with center air hole, side air holes I made myself but not above thread, but on the bottom of the adapter cup (exactly where vmod gives the juice)
Between the adapter and a7 is 5x1 O-ring, and on conector few another
from the top:
9x1, 5
9x1
9x1
8x1

A lot of these O-rings a little;), but thanks to this no leaks and the air flow is perfect ;)

P.S. This is not the end, I ordered the dna12 from evolve and as soon as comes i squeeze them to my vmod ;)
