Hahahaa! I feel you! I have the xl and a gorgeous Hog mod feeder...I feel pretty set in the bottom feeding department. Everyone should definitely have at least two feeders! I really wish the vmod 2.0 was a 16340 size. I want one badly, but just as badly don't want another type of battery in my life. :glare:

Seen pics of your Hog I think.

I have an admission to make. Hangs head low. Would make the font smaller as well if I wasn't on the phone.

I will be getting that Bacchus but that isn't available till June so I was left in a situation of no bottom feeder. Checked the Classifieds and found something just across the peninsula in Tampa that I picked up.

I still refuse to buy a truck but I have a Reo enroute. Will be interesting to have the comparison. Suspect I know which I will prefer hence no reference to Reonaut. Be good to have another back up though.

Only packed the Xl this morning but missing the familiarity already.

I still can't get over how small the xl is! But, the Grand isn't big really...I think you'll like it, but it's not nearly as comfortable to hold or pocket as the xl. My only local vaping friend has a Grand. It works very well, about the same size as a Hog. But yeah...the size and roundness of the xl certainly makes it my favorite over the squareness of the Grand. I might need to go see if there is a burl cover for the xl....wood and vmod in one...

For the nubies asking about IMRs, they don't vape as long for me as e.g. protected AW 2600s. You'd have to be using a 9mm casing or a steel bolt as an atty to actually need the current capability of an IMR. With 1.5 ohm atties, the protected batteries vape just great and offer more protection both on charging and discharging. As to the shape of the discharge curve, it's a personal thing, but they both work fine.

Guten abend!

Welcome back good sir.

What it IS!

BTW I gotta check the dates but I'm somewhere around 3 months chain vaping the same HH357. It's funny, it goes through brief runs of not feeding fast enough, burnt taste, gotta prime it with the squirsh, and like starting a car, aftrr a few tries turns over and then it's in tilt feed mode perfect for days ... hiss... hiss... aaaah!

In my absence what's been the favorite LR atty? Avid Aero or what?

My main accomplishment of late: running down an 18650 and most of an XL bottle on a flight from SFO to Frankfurt.

Atty discussion has died off a bit. My Aeros have been performing well but 3 months on the same atty is astounding.

Still planning on picking some up early June at Vapestock here in Florida.

Hope my old home town of Frankfurt treated you well. After 12 years of living in Hessen I can lay claim to a fair bit of it. But hey I am English and we do that lol

I have been using a Vmod 2.0 for the past 1 1/2 months but I have been wanting a XL for the longer battery life. Now I am getting a Vmod XL from another great member on the forum in a trade. I should be getting the XL later this week and I would like to know what different batteries will work well in the XL?

There are many 18650 3.7 volt batteries with varying mah ratings listed by several different vendors. AW IMR and IC protected. There are 1600, 2000, 2200, 3000, 3100 and most vendors do not list the dimension measurements so it is confusing to me to figure out which ones will fit.

If other XL users could reply with specifics of batteries they use that will fit and work well and where to order. I would really appreciate it as I do not have any and I need to order some for the XL that is coming.

Thanks

Up until a couple of weeks ago I was using magnet spacers on the flat top batterys I have but forgot to add it one time and...all good.

In fact out of the 5 different styles of 18650 including the 4.8 volt batterys all of them work.

Just realised wasn't specific as asked.

AW IMR 1600 & 2200, Ultrafire 2600, Panasonic 2200, 4.8 Volt 600
