Got a couple of months from mine before dieing.

Interesting I just checked the ohm's on both Aero's and one is showing 0.9 the other 1.1.

Both are supposed to be 1.5 and have been. Could they be reduced to Ego/Vari dripping Atty's or is it with trying to clean them? Certainly don't want to put them on the XL with a fresh battery pushing 4.2.

Here's a good picture that might help you. Tweezers and patience are good tools.

lol -- maybe that's why forums were invented. We vapers always have questions....and there is always something to learn around these parts.

Why use them? They are seals and keep the juice where it's supposed to be. I've used mine without the lower seal sometimes and it mostly just means the outside of the atty gets damp. Some say they affect the air flow and don't use with certain brands of atty's. O rings are used for lots of things in this vaping world. Most tanks have them, too.

When? When the old one wears out (cracks or breaks). (The new blue seals last a lot longer than earlier ones...nice improvement.) And, using a steel atty or carto instead of a paper covered one (most black or colored ones are that way) isn't as hard on the seals, so they last longer.

How? I think we each learn our own way!! The picture is a great help. Maybe Vapage should put that picture in the "no picture available" slot where one orders seals. If you ever need to see it again, it's on the first page or two this thread as are other "very important" pictures from the Part I of this thread.

Hi fellow Vmodians :) New to the forum and to the VMOD.I recently got a VMOD 2.0 and really like it, was considering getting the XL and was wondering if the size and battery life were the only differences or are there features that make it better.

I was wondering if it hits better because of the larger battery as I have noticed for some reason my cisco 306 hit harder on an old goat bottom feeder than they do on the VMOD 2.0 with the same batteries. Any insight into why this might be?

Thanks

Sorry fella not actually tried the 'ickle VMod so can't comment on it.

DO know that the 306 does very well on the XL. Ermmm actually any Cisco I have thrown on there does rather well.

The main difference between the 2 devices can really be summed up as convenience. The larger battery and 9ml bottle means depending on your vaping you will have the minimum of a solid days work vaping in a nice sized package. I carry two mods with me all the time so this means a good two days as I swap between them both then just swap out the battery.

As you have discovered it really is trouble and hassle free vaping with a good atty and favourite juice at close to being it's finest without breaking the bank.

You don't have to do anything. What works best for you is the best method.

I find I have more control by tilting keeping a steady feed of juice to the atty rather than squeezing the bottle. Keeping the 357 wet seems to be important for longevity from everything I have read.

But then again I also have a slow leak on the bottle seal that presents itself when I squeeze so being lazy I just let gravity do it's work for me.

It works well for me but may not for you so I would suggest be aware of the options and play. It will take a few days for the atty to kick in properly but even early use is pretty good.

Let us know how it goes!
