ok, I love, love, love these vapage atomizers. Using the 2.0 on my kicked silver bullet with a drip shield and it's AMAZING. Just ordered 2-packs from vapage in 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5 ohms. Wish I'd had the foresight when I used the one-time 50% off code. Fortunately vapin15 still works for a 15% discount. These atties rock!

I have 8 of the 1.5s on the way after my first set of 2. I should be good for a bit. Longevity is still to be determined.

What about a shorter bottle for the Vmod XL to allow the Kick to be mounted under the bottle. I remember seeing something about just cutting part of the threads off the bottle to make the kick fit under it. Maybe if Vapage offered say a 6 or 7 mil. bottle that would allow the kick to be modded under the bottle.

What if Vapage came out with a "Kickable" model called the Vmod XL-K or something like that, but have the wiring changed so that the Kick could perfectly snap/fit into a shelf under the juice bottle with the proper connections already in place, and make the juice bottle 7ml or 8ml so that it's just a little shorter (don't want to lose the 18650 but don't want to lose too much juice capacity either). That way they wouldn't have to re-engineer the aluminum sleeve just for that model, only the internal wiring, add a plastic shelf and a slightly shorter juice bottle.

And they could also include/sell some kind of "dummy Kick" to slide in just to complete the circuit (a piece of black plastic with a strip of metal on it?) in case your Kick broke or you wanted to use the Kick in one of your other devices but still use the Vmod in the standard configuration..

Sounds like a great idea to me.

I know it says one-time but did you try using it a second time? I think it will work more then once

That's what i did too (with my 50% off) :)... longevity is in the works now eh?
I actually killed one from the first pak after a few days.
I switched it to my Reo Grand and not being the best b/f'er I over- squonked it and just vaped it through instead of taking it off and blowing thru the bottom end... doom. It just died mid over-fire.

BTW, I'm off to look for the new thread on this atomizer in "The New & Improved Bottom Feeder Hybrid Atomizer from Vapage.com" thread somewhere here....

I just joined the ranks of vmod users! though I have no idea what Im getting into. I did see a needle inserted into the juice bottle, do many of you use that mod? does it work as advertised? and where can I get one? thank you

There is no needle in the bottle. It is a tilt to feed system.

Are you talking about this vid? The guy used an 18 gauge needle (I assume from a syringe). Hopefully this link will take you right to where he discusses the needle (it's at 1:37):

Personally I love the gravity feed system and don't find it annoying in the least to tilt the mod. I don't understand why people make such a big deal out of that.

Has anybody had their Vmod XL crack on the side along where the battery goes?? Mine has developed a crack a little over halfway from the bottom of the battery compartment. It runs all the way around the curved part........

Bummer, GH. Agree with the 901 guy (that'd be you, Mr. Tat)... contact them. That's a new one...
