karlton... Chief... Aaaaaaaaaaaandy!
Hi Kat! There sure are a lot of familiar faces in here. :)

Is it possible to flood the atty on this pv? It's crazy. Every drag is consistent.

Hi :) it looks like I am jumping on the bandwagon too! My new XL Vapage Vmod plus a few extra color covers/cones just shipped out today to me and after reading this thread and all the great info I can hardly wait for it to get here! I have been wanting one ever since I saw them offered on the vapor phoenix site and really excited the XL uses any 510 atty/carto and the 18650. This will be my first bottom feeder too and I am glad it appears to be so user friendly.

Well, got some "Shifu" 2.0's today:blink: Popped it on my XL(with a new red shell:thumbs:) Primmed it with quite a few drop's of KBV Cranberry Lemolade and let it sit for about 20mins to soak. Dropped in the kick set at 8.5(roughly) Sqwooshed the bottle to suck excess back in and took a puff:ohmy: First impressions after a few puffs is, wait for it, wait for it....I'm Impressed:w00t: It ain't the 901 flavor i'm so obsessed with on my XL, but I'll tell you, it's pretty darn close!! Well if it keeps up like this, I guess I'll retire using 901's on my XL and save them for dripping:thumbs: So I say Vapage and the Vaping Ninja(aka Skinny) got a very good atty here!! Job well done:thumbs:

Also happy that I don't have to Sqwoosh(or any other "S" word:unsure:) the bottle with this atty, it feeds perfectly just tilting and Vaping:headbang:

News Flash – Cracked chassis problem?

From the Shi-fu himself:

“The new chassis will be in US next week, and we will get them out as quickly as possible--no more 4-6 week wait--as soon as we get chassis in it goes out within 24hrs. I have made this a priority for our CS/Shipping Dept.”

And…..about warranty concerns:

“We know there may be a potential issue, so for the rest of this year it's open.”

Here’s some more of the skinny:

“Basically: there was too much stress being put on the plastic, and over time it causes the plastic to crack. To make matters worse, our plastic MFG has been short-cutting on the molding--perpetuating the issue. He's done!!!

I'm having new mold made from a plastic company I have chosen, and will probably have something new added to it, but I can't tell you now....hehe!”

I am shocked and stunned about this reaction from Vapage...

Nope no good can't even write it without smiling.

Vapage is not a you buy and leave you company in my experience. They support their customers, willing to listen to issues and help address them.

I can give you various examples from my own experience.

Well done folks it is appreciated.

Here's a few clickable pics ---

Treads increased on the Vent-Stack (That's what I've been calling the Chimney:blush:) so the cone grabs more threads, this increases the life of the threads, and makes it easier to use.

Shif-fu quote for the non-technically challenged: "Here's where the magic happens. We made a housing-washer to encase the negative wire. The main reason is this reduces stress on the plastic and puts it in more compression, rather than in expansion." and "Another benefit to this new washer is it increases contact between the metal and the wire." (hmm -- better contact = good!)

T

This shows the overall chassis with a new IMR battery shi-fu is testing.

I'm sure first priority is for people who have sent in their Chassis for replacement. For those of us who have acquired a crack after months of use and went the super glue/gorilla glue route -- no fear -- we can send it in any time this year, for a FAST replacement..

Vapage has shown well above the norm when it comes to guaranteeing their products and this extension of warranty is another example.

BTW, I believe it still stands that any vmod version 1 (the little guy) owner can exchange it for the vmod2.
