I actually have more success "dripping" with the vmod than I ever did really dripping into an atty. You may like what it comes with then. I do know tht the shifu has better flavor for me than the attie that came with it though. I'd give it a shot and then order what you think is best for you though. Everyone likes a dif vape =)

I actually prefer the vape on a fresh batt @1.5 ohms then when the bat starts running down lol.

That's the big thing with vaping. Initially it costs more money than you would spend at one time compared to smoking. But once you find the device combo that works for you, you're set. Unless you are like me. I vape like some people play pokeman. I'ma try and catch em all. lol

Now that was funny

I thought about getting a bunch of drip tips. While I haven't tried glass ones, I'm partial to metal. The plastic ones like to melt and ruin my atties with some of the juices I like. I'm afraid I'll break the glass ones. I dropped my VMOD so hard on the floor today. I always have my apv in my hand and I'm an animated talker. Works out for some spills every once in a while.

The question of the day IS ... Do I really NEED a VMod 2.0 if I already have a VMod XL?? Geeesh! Decisions, decisions ... Decisions! It's super cute because it's smaller ... But will I REALLY use it having the XL??? Somebody tell me I REALLY don't need it! Or somebody tell me they have the XL AND the 2.0 and use BOTH ... So I can justify ordering the 2.0 smaller one while it's on sale!! LOL!!

I've tried 1.5 atties before and discovered they are too hot for me. My sweet spot seems to be around 3.7v with a 2.0 - 2.4 ohm. I do look forward to trying the vapage offerings in a 1.8 to 2.4 range though soon. I use cartos now but loved dripping on an attie for flavor....just never got the hang of keeping them wet without overfilling them. I plan to work on that with my new vmod though. Would like to go back to atties at some point.

the Hybrids are cooler than other 1.5 Ohm atomizers in my experience, but some do complain about too hot... could be because not enough juice ... but too much juice as you state is worse of a problem. Keep trying to get the amount right (using atomisers) it's worth it.

If you want 3.7v you won't find it in the Vmods ... unless you Kick it. True voltage on just about all "3.7" PV's run about 3.3 to 3.4v (except say the KGO).

well if if makes you feel better (worse?) ... you could have gotten it at 50% off (unless $30 is 50% ?)... oops.
How about .... those 2.0 are lousy! ? (not)
Seriously, for me, I LOVE the 18650 batt PV's - much longer usage times; less hassle charging, and the XL is not that big. It's a fantastic form model that fits right in your ... hand, pocket, glove, drawer etc

I think I am in the minority here, but I started with the XL and then got a 2.0 and barely use the XL at all anymore. The XL feels absolutely huge now.

I am thinking about selling my XL and getting a VV/VW device.

If you have burnt taste from charring your wick with too much dry burn, it may be irrepairable in that sense.

Usually though after vaping on them for a day they return back to their former glory unless I burnt the wick. In which case I usually have to replace them.

I think I burned the wick. Was getting burnt taste, now when I hold up to the light I can see "daylight" thru the middle, so that is probably part of the wick missing.

I realize there is a better way to see this, but my eyes are not good, even w/magnifying glass, so I think just holding it up to window and seeing that "hole" there means it's a goner.

Bummed!
