I can't open the attachements

Ok. Some pics here. And before anyone asks what the bulge in the center rib is, it was an experiment to see how malleable the plastic is in an attempt to snug up the rib plastic to the bottle a bit so the threads don't get stressed. I bailed on that idea. That was the same day I made the beer can ground ring, if you catch my drift. LOL

Hmmm. Not sure why these came out as attachments, but oh well.

I thought there was something funny about that. How about now?

OK, Got it goin, WOW, I see why they call it the Kick! I have it set to about 8.5 watts with a 2.0 atty and there's a huge difference in TH, heat, vapor, and flavor! I just used one piece, cut it to length and slid it in. It's resting along the wire and is bumped up over the bottom part of the spring; then I cut the extra off on the long side. It's just sitting in there without using the adhesive, and I think I like it that way. I'm just going to leave it like this unless it starts giving me problems, aside from bumping up the wattage a little (9.5-10). What a difference! I'm loving it.

Nice. I used the adhesive to keep the copper in place. Works well, you may want to revisit. I have mine set to just about 9 watts. Hard to tell really. Works great. When I was using the aluminum ring the top area was getting warm. It wasn't right away, but I knew something was amiss. The batteries were getting weak far too soon. This setup works awesome.

OK, I see it. I'll take your advice Chad and take the unit to the hardware store to get a rubber oring. Yah, it's a great idea, too bad the aluminum was warming up. I may sucure the copper later, in fact i imagine I'll need to at some point, but it's fitting really well for now. It's deffinately a major improvement; aptly named the *kick*.

You're vaping too much that's why the aluminum is getting hot! Hahaha

I haven't had a bottle crack yet, and have 3 more replacements. I just had a 'big alcohol brain' thing going at the time. LOL (idiot). The o-ring sounds interesting though. I've seen pics from people using stuff stuck against the rib wall, but I'm not too worried about it right now. Works well.

TB put an o-ring the the bottle neck so it will not crack the bottle.

Hey TB, in reference to the aluminum oring heating up on the bottom of your Kick, I found this at the Evolve website:

"Note: The base of the Kick module is a heat synch. You may notice some warmth on the body of your devices with heavy use. This warmth is normal." Maybe the oring is ok.

Happy Vaping

Ya, but this heat was unyielding. I think I found the source now. Working the proverbial treat now. Hat is off to chadster214 for supplying the inspiration.

I'm glad you found a fix TB. I had something strange happen yesterday. I was using my newly kicked vmod, and it had been sitting for a while, then i picked it up to take a pull off of it, and as soon as I started there was a blast of pressure (the only way i can decribe it), which was really startling. I took everything off and the kick was kinda cattywomp in there, so I adjusted it, put it back together, and it worked fiine for about an hour. It did a milder version of the pressure thing again, then the atty went out. It was a fresh battery, so I got out a Silo Carto and put it on, 2.2ohms, and it's been working fine since then. It has hit about the same as with the 2.0 atty; confirming the kick's ability to adjust any ohms to the setting. Anybody ever have the blast of pressure happen? it was a first for me.
Happy Vapng Everyone.
