I thought about Striker's situation today. I feel that during a warranty period, or even 1/2 of it, with a $100 mod, there should be some kind of "repair" option, like you pay $20 or $25 bucks. If can be repaired, okay, if not, then those monies help defer the cost of these repairs. don't mean to say the reo word or bogger box word but truthfully, there are many vendors that DO offer a repair option. As a result, I think their products holds value better.
Just my thoughts, based on what i know about marketing.
See, if you KEEP the customer, they will keep coming to your for supplies. That could be *forever*. Once they are not using your product anymore, at all..........there go all your accessory sales.
And, if given the chance to really come to *love* a mod, then you know, that person will be buying and recommending for/to others.
I'm 100% behind keeping the flock in the fold. From a business standpoint, there is absolutely NO DOWNSIDE. Even the bean counters can put this thru their blender and see what I mean.
So, it's a suggestion----officially.
