How about cutting the brass kick tube for the chi. That should work and the brass is easier to solder the neg to.;)

Is there any salvaging a cell where the tab broke off? Or this just a good candidate to see what happens when you drive a nail through one?

3000mAh at 35C, nice small package, might make a good "DayTripper".

Not even a little stub left to solder a wire to?

What pack did you tear those from?:)

Possibly :lol: I have very carefully ground just enough of the silver packaging away to expose enough of the tab to solder to :D

I've done this before in a bind, but if you have other cells, it's really not worth the risk. You would need to have Aluminum solder and flux for this...
