For an otherwise relatively healthy person, no, I do not think there are downsides that would be a reason to not use it, if you wanted to.

As a 45yr+ ex-smoker, I'm glad there is a much safer alternative to keep me away from Tobacco.

When I say "advocating for doing nothing" I am referring to people who pop into discussions about doing something, and instead talk about...
--How they're not worried
--How nothing is going to happen
--How there is nothing we can do about it

When people exhibit a pattern of behavior like that, it becomes advocating for doing nothing as far as I'm concerned.
And it's pretty damn offensive to people who ARE trying to do something, and especially to those who have SUCCEEDED in doing something.

And if in the end vaping survives those folks will come back here and say, hey we told you it would all be OK and we didn't need to worry or do anything. We'll tell them that the reason it turned out OK was that thousands of people worked really hard to get to that outcome. And they won't believe us.

Or if vaping gets banned they will show up and say, hey, we told you there was nothing we could do.

You just have to do what is right for you, and not worry about what other people think of your choices.

Nothing we do in this world is 100 percent safe.. driving, sking, drinking, eating... So I don't consider vaping bad.. just enjoyable after years of smoking..
I also enjoy all the above with their dangers..
Smoking was bad for all of us... none of us older generation thought it was.. We would see it advertised and oh the Marlboro Man was handsome..lol
Addicted we became..
I am not addicted to vaping, just enjoy making my own flavors and using some purchased ones and enjoy the hobby of wicking and trying different combinations of taste..
