MAN! talk about FAST! they called me, and I missed their call (and didn't check my voice mail! My fault!)

Here's his response!

Hi Holly,

I apologize for the delay.
There was a problem with your order, and Linsey has left a few messages on your voicemail asking you to call us.
I needed some information about your order for the lab, and I also wanted to speak with you to try and find out what caused the problem in the first place.

Apparently when you placed your order, the PG/VG ratios for the nicotine solution were not recorded in the database.
Everything but your nicotine is packed and ready to ship.
If you can tell me what PG/VG ratio you meant to order I'll make sure it's the first one through the mixing lab and shipped tomorrow.

Unfortunately we were shorthanded and fell behind this morning, otherwise she would have tried to contact you again today.
I'd still like to find out what might have caused the initial glitch in the shopping cart.
It only happens to about one out of 500 orders and so far the software developers are clueless as to why it happens.
Did you have the nicotine solution saved in the cart for a long time (days) before checking out, or did you add and delete different strength solutions in the cart?
Anything that you remember about your shopping experience could be helpful in finding and fixing this bug.

I apologize again for the delay in getting your order out, and will be refunding your shipping charge tomorrow for it.

Sincerely,

John MacLeod

Three minutes :D

it took him THREE MINUTES to respond,,,,I mean really, he needs to be a bit faster  (Kidding, obviously!)

I told him it's not necessary to refund the shipping, since *I* was the one who didn't listen to my voice mail,,,,,,,,but the man insists. How nice is that?

Talk about excellent customer service! I will DEFINITELY be back!

I'm just going to throw my 2 cents in here. Everything I've gotten from Wizard Labs has been great. I started my intial order wtih 125 ML of 100mg Nicotine and it's lasted me 3 months. The stuff keeps well, no tanning or odd flavors even after sitting around in my freezer for 2 months. The stuff mixes well from what I can see, and I have yet to come up with a juice or flavoring that I could NOT vape. He also adds in some freebies from time to time that I would have never thought to try. Shipping is always laser fast.. Last time I ordered on a Thursday night, Recieved it Monday afternoon (In Illinois!).

Can't say enough about the quality and packaging, it's all top notch and then some, not to mention the PRICES and convenience makes it hard for me to even look anywhere else for my DIY supplies. The only thing I could complain about is the flavor availability.

John + everyone at Wizard Labs are super awsome. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else for my Nic and TPA/Lorann flavors.
Not to mention the packaging.. I bet it could survive gunfire or a fall from a plane, Nuclear Apolocalypse, floods.. etc.

I just need to find something to do with the treasure trove of poor empty 8ml vials I just cleaned up :)

I'm new to DIY, and I just placed my first two orders from WL this past week, and I can't say enough about the great service, and packaging. Verry happy new customer here. I do have a couple of questions after browsing through this thread though;

1. I see people talking about putting their nic base in the freezer, does it not freeze? (I have 36mg base)
2. Can I put food coloring in my juice, and vape it safely? Some of the flavors are clear, makes it hard to see my juice level in a genesis setup in low light.

My understanding is that it WILL freeze,,,but that's ok,,,,,,

and I don't think I'd go for food coloring in it,,,,,,not sure I'd want to vape that LOL. But someone with more experience may chime in for you!

PG and VG do not freeze. (at least in the temps our freezers get) They thicken a little in the freezer so you want to leave a *little* headroom. (not a lot, but a little)

2) Yes you CAN put GRAS food coloring in your juice but most people who vape want to limit the chemicals they injest/breathe, not add more. Some chemicals in food coloring are *questionable* and I surely wouldn't want to inhale them. Some e-juice companies add food coloring to their juice as a marketing gimick (JV, Radiator Pluid).. and some flavor companies add coloring to their (some of their) flavors because they are supossed to be used primarially in candy (loranns).

They give backrubs with orders now? Perfect timing...after I mix the rest of my nic I will be down to base only...so when I am down to 150ml or so of base I am ordering more.

I tried to rate this thread 5 stars but its not letting me. Someone else should try.

I like the idea of food coloring. Red for cherry, Blue for blueberry, purple for grape, green for apple, brown for tobacco, orange for citrus.
It would make it a hell of alot easier to tell what my flavors are in the off chance I forget to label them.

Technically VG and PG do freeze but not like you'd think. They become an amorphous solid otherwise know as a gel at (VG 64°F, 17.8°C) and (PG -79° F, -59°C).

You don't have to worry about expansion. Amorphous materials with the exception of H2O shrink when frozen.
