Raspberry from TFA tastes like nail polish remover smells. You all have been warned!
LOL. Should make for a nice base though to take any number of directions as you pointed out. How about a touch of lemon too? I'll have to try that then. And some pumpkin and holiday spice as things continue to cool down. Season has a huge affect on my taste wants.
Some flavors are ethyl alcohol based (~pure grain alcohol) and smell incredibly strong (like the cranberry). Steeping these uncovered seems to help. Cranberry tasted (and seemed to vape) horrible at first, but once it settled down, it was a nice authentic cranberry flavor. Flavoring is such strange science.

Remember though, if you start with 18% then add flavoring, say 20% of the total volume, that leaves you at 14.4% total.
Yeah, I am trying to get around 14-15mg nic ..... 18 is too strong for me. I just don't want to mix nic........yet.![]()

I never thought of lemon. I'm not the type of gal who puts lemon in her tea though. I was actually born in Worcester and my family dragged me down to the south as a youngin' where I converted like a good southern girl. Go figure. I have a thing for TFA fruits, so the teas (green, black, earl grey) made a lot of sense to me.
I assume you read the posts about the holiday spice containing nutmeg and to mix it at very, very low levels at first? Heh. I am excited to try the pumpkin spice. I need to mix today.
What did you do with cranberry? I haven't been brave enough to try that one.
What percentage did you mix it at?? I L-O-V-E the berries from TFA, including raspberry!
I started to experiment with Pumpkin Spice last night. Single flavor at 5%, let sit with the cap off in some hot water until the water cooled. Its very good, but strong! Definitely needs something sweet to off set it.

Do you mean the LA blueberry?
Its different. I wouldn't say better, just different.
I made some with whipcream and it was decent. Not OMGWOW but it was good. It tastes more natural but its kind of weak. Its not tart/sweet enough. I added some of it to a blackberry recipe and it was EXCELLENT compared to the original. I recommend it.
I find mixing LA and TFA flavors(the same ones ie;blueberry) Gives a more full bodied juice. They are better when mixed otgether than whne mixed on their own.
The BB extra melts clearos but I haven't had the same problem with the LA blueberry. I suspect it is cause by something in the artificial flavoring in the TFA brand.
Happy vaping!![]()
It's a newer TFA flavor I was referring to: Blueberry Wild. I believe this version of blueberry flavor is polycarbonate-safe.
