PS -- I very likely won't do single-flavors on tobaccos -- having to wait so long for it to steep, I'll try to construct the flavor I want, right from the get-go. Only if i get totally frustrated with a flavor do I go back to the drawing board and do single mixes so I can freehand-mix, but so far my mixing is going pretty well, since I found a few old-reliables like Vanilla Swirl, for base/background. Though the cherry pipe tobacco isn't (so far) *exactly* what I had in mind, it's not bad at all. Great after eating!
I did a bunch of single flavor experiments and put reviews of them on the tobacco thread in the DIY section. I found many very good tobacco flavors that I didnt even know existed. One of them is Latakia which is suppose to be like the tobacco originally made in Syria and now Cyprus. After a long steep it starts developing a smokyness to it that is very enjoyable. Add a touch of Black & Mild and its a true exotic tobacco blend that cna be enjoyed for days on end.
The Cherry Cigar I been vaping has an excellent flavor where the cherrys enhance they tobacco flavor and dont have that medicinal taste at all. By itself it was a bit harsh so I added some vanilla and it really rounded out the vapes flavor. With a long steep its like a cherry smokey marshmallowy flavor on the inhale and a vanilla cigarish tobacco flavor on the exhale. Its turning out to be a favorite.
