Maybe in Ni200. Kanthal, get outta here.
I have never tried Ni200, if I find 30g Kanthal too flexible then I imagine the nickel would be like trying to form waxed thread into shape... ;)

Don't give up on 30ga. It's all I've ever used, and after a bit of practice, I got used to it. Now it's no problem at all.
It would have a very specific place and purpose, like in the Sat22 or kayfun 2.1. I really cant see me using it in the Big German. :D

I can build twin mudwomper coils in a minute and they last forever. While your rewicking by pulling wisps of cotton out of wire the size of a human hair with tweezers I yank him out with vise-grips and shove a pillow case of cotton and trim with pruning shears.
That just sums it all up perfectly!

I would love to know why its so frickin hard to get a decent strawberry DIY flavor? I just tried some Fa Strawberry & Cream and like all other strawberry flavors, its candyish and fake tasting. I have vaped juices before that are good strawberry vapes. Mothers milk, Unicorn Milk, ITC Spoonlicker V2 so i know it can be done, just why cant I find any decent DIY strawberry flavors dabnabit!

I use FW flavors and while what I'm about to post isn't for sampleing I'm gonna throw it out there.

Got my first factory direct order this week. All 4 and 8 ounce bottles for very much cheaper.

Smallest they sell is 4oz so ya best be sure you like the flavor. 10ml is alot if you hate it. Pinapple anyone???

25 wraps(spaced) with 24ga gives .15Ω.

I find nickel fussy to work with. To be honest the store bought nickel for the STM give me the best TC vape I've had yet. And it still ain't that great.

Back to getting a good vape off a Provari. The STM mini at 1.5 is a very mild vape. But I gave away the other STM's and I want that back for TC.

The Tiafun is good. Very good. But Tiafuns can be moody and I don't trust them outside the house.

So who's up next?? The Lemo 2. This one has been drilled out so isn't the dry hitting mutha she used to be. At 1.5 with rayon its actually a pretty good vape. Somewhere between choking a tootler out and a whomper thinking "just a little more".

Hows the Lemo 2 compared to an Orchid V5? TBH I don't have much experience with either... I need to clean and rebuild my Orchid!!

Well at low power the Lemo 2 wins cause its pretty hard to get a tootle build with duals for me. Real thin wire is needed.

At higher power the lemo falls apart and the Orchid starts to really shine. For me Orchids work best right around .7Ω. In the .5 range its pretty hot as Orchids don't have the air. Over 1 and its a wet sloppy mess.

I don't get the most flavor out of Lemos. Easy to build on but performance isn't what I'm after. In the low watt range the flavor is very poor. Better then the Kayfun or Russian but all of them have poor flavor. MY ADV is a lightly flavored joose with just a hint of menthol. Through any of these tanks the exact same just has no flavor and a wisp of menthol. Tomorrow I'm gonna make some joose with more flavorings to see just how high I'd have to go.

Orchid is crazy easy to build and is very forgiving. Stock they don't do the best with good VG juice so stick with some high PG stuff like 50/50. And high nic. 30w at .7 works for me. Open up the channels with a Dremel and switch to some normal high VG juice and low nic and keep the settings the same for a purfect vape full of flavor (without having to use a ton of flavorings)

I had nothing but headaches with Orchids. I have the V4 and V7 and they drove me nuts.Thinking back on it part of the fault was mine. I was running the dual coils at .2 and then vaping them on Tesla Invaders which are dual 18650's unregulated.
The problem with my V4 was the chimney pipe was too short and kept pushing the Oring out of the top cap groove or cutting it, then it would leak everywhere. With the V7 they addressed that and the top pipe screwed into the cap like the Lemo II does but the juice would leak when I vaped it and scalding hot juice on the hand sucks. I think if I tried the V7 on a regulated mod I would get better results and use the V4 for target practice.

Yeah, I used mine for a while with MAX VG 6mg Nic at around .6ohms if I remember right... Went to fill it one day using the Kayfun method (Close holes flip upside down etc) and it just decided to flood all out on me... I have this one Orchid V5 RBA Clone w/ PC Tank by Tobeco - 101 Vape The Chimney does like to stick to the top..

I have all V6's.

I like .7 at it works out to my exact power setting on a mech so I can screw one on whatever is handy.

IMHO .2 on a stock Orchid is way to hot and even ground out to hot a build. Even .5 is to much.

Now the Silverplay and Chutulu laugh at hot builds. But I keep them .3-.4. Chutulu at .4 on a mech is a happy vape.

Good Evening Whompers. Any body try 24 26 28 30 ga etc. ni200 yet. I like the TI but do not like the price. I am running a 11/12 or 12/13 wrap NI 200 app the little blue screwdriver size. showing 0.14 ohm. Looking for suggestions

28g Ni200 on a machine screw .1Ω dual coil...the Velocity is just so dang awesome. I'm looking to get some Ti soon to try, I do notice it's more expensive but Ni is really annoying to work with

Im sure you have already mentioned this.. but what Gauge do you prefer on the Orchids?? I always use 28G... Sometimes 27G or 22G...

Back and forth between 26 and 28. 26 makes a much better coil that can be rewicked easier. All else being equal 26 is the right answer.

However in my ground out ones 28 works better. Once you start moddding them yourself your kinda on your own. Nobody can tell you what to do cause nobody has what you have. Since the V6's are a total loss system to access the deck its best to not use 5 Pawns until you figger it out. Wicking is stupid simple once you dial it in but horrifyingly wet until you do. To little cotton with those huge juice channels and she dumps the tank. Too much and it dry hits like a Kayfun. But once you learn it its snip, tuck and vape.
