Seems like it goes into "sleep mode" if you don't vape it for XX amount of minutes. Some mods do this...it's annoying. The first click after it sits for so long won't fire the device, once the screen pops back up and you hit the fire button it starts working again.

No... that's not it, because it happens when I'm chain vaping, right in the middle. So probably no more than 10 or 15 seconds since the last good hit, then a blank one, then another one immediately after that's OK. Maybe I just have a gremlin. There are a lot of gremlins around here, it wouldn't surprise me if one got in my mod. o_O

@Rixsta I had a couple of ratties as pets when I was a kid. My first one (her name was Scamper, how original) would sleep with me at night - she'd squeak if I started to roll over on her - and had free run of the house. She went to school with me most days, too, and rode on my shoulder the whole day. I had long hair, so usually the only thing anyone saw was her tail stick out suddenly if I took a hard turn and she lost her balance! LOL! They'd never allow a kid to bring a rat to school these days... After she died, I got a male named Romeo, but became allergic to him, so he had to go to my sister. Then I went through mice, but my allergy just kept getting worse, and finally I can't be around rodents at all anymore, except rabbits. The rats made wonderful pets, and yes, they're cleaner than cats! :D

@Lannie, awww that's so sweet and shame about your allergy, they do make great pets, it's just the stigma to the word rat, pretty bizarre, it's been going on for nearly 700 years, go figure. Oh and it's time for a new mod :)

Ems get your last one? ;)

Yeah, bad rap for rats since the Plague. Should have blamed the fleas.

@Lannie

It could be the connection with the fire button. Anyway to check?

Well, now THAT makes sense. There's no way for ME to check, but I'll ask Rich if he can.

K, he thinks maybe my tank connection might not be good and tight. He poked on the pin in the top of the mod and said it didn't seem very springy. I usually use this same tank on this mod, so I'll switch tanks with another mod and see if it happens then. That should tell me if it's the mod or the tank, I guess. (The tank is screwed down firmly to the mod, by the way, but not horked on there too tight, just finger tight.)

No, wait, that wouldn't make sense because if it was the tank connection, it would say "no atomizer." Duh. OK, I'm back at square one. It's not a huge problem, it's just a minor annoyance, and I'll just live with it, I guess, unless I have some brilliant inspiration as to what might be wrong. I don't think we can take the mod apart without destroying it, so I don't know how to check the connection on the fire button...

Sunday dinner was, a leg of lamb, cabbage, carrots, runner beans, sprouts, mashed swede, broccoli, mashed potatoes, sage and onion stuffing, Yorkshire pudding with lamb gravy poured over.
The first eight years of married life was to a Brit who cooked that way. Also, an English dinner plate is about 2" in diameter larger than the average American dinner plate. She did not bring all the food to the table but totally loaded the plate heaping with all those goodies (note how many of those are carb-intense), then, if I didn't ask for seconds, she thought I didn't love her. I went from a 38" waist and 240 pounds when I said "I do" to 360 pounds and a 52" waist by the time she left. Now I am back down to that 38" waist and 160 pounds lighter.

By the way, what is mashed swede? I be mostly Svedish und hav net been toadily mashed yet... :)

    I was kinda wondering the same thing. I know what a Smashed Swede is (and I kinda suspect that the Swedish Chef from the old Muppets show mighta been one, smashed I mean) but no idea what a mashed swede is.

    why can't they just speak proper English over on that side of the pond...:D
    I can usually figure my way through British English... even Irish English... the one I am having great difficulty with is Chingrish (as in the destruction sheet that comes with your new mod). o_O

    Sometimes I think they run it through Google Translate, then translate those results back to Chinese, then the new Chinese version back to English, and they keep going like that until even the Chinese translation doesn't make sense to them anymore, at that point they figure the English translation is good enough to publish.:lol:
