That said, your both probably absorbing about the same amount of nic.
I do vape nic free as well, nic for me isn't needed, I don't crave it and I did a test not long back and went a week vaping nic free juice and I saw no difference at all. Once this nic has gone, I will not buy anymore, Emma vapes nic free too, (she has never smoked) so that will be that.. I vape for the flavors and purely for the habit, I enjoy something in my hand and the feeling of inhaling and exhaling and visually seeing vapor come out, that's my habit, I personally don't see nicotine as addictive in liquid form on it's own, only when it's combined with other chemicals in cigarettes does it become addictive, I was so addicted to cigarettes but I don't crave nicotine in e liquid, it is all in the mind. A LOT will disagree, and have ! lol But that is of course my personal views on it, I guess we are all different, I don't 100% know the answer.

Agreed, nic on its own is much like caffeine. But like caffeine it really depends on the person and their neurochemistry.
In the 28years I was using tobacco I was never dependent. I smoked because I liked the calming effect. I only smoked at night before bed and often went months without.
Unlike my 25R's from Samsung. I'm not complaining or feeling limited by it (yet) but after being used to such long run times, was surprised to run it down in 2 days. My expectation was for longer, but that was just an impression, not quantitatively evaluating the difference. Lesson learned. Seat of the pants flying doesn't always work.
Any chance you hit it more? New shiney and all that?

Probably. But I really have been trying to stick to a daily rotation. Might have skipped a bit in there with and new shiny. I can't help it that I'm superficial and easily impressed.
