Nevermind, it's back

Limp electrons are useless.Don't they have a Blue pill for that???![]()
This one?what happened to yur graph boden I refreshed and it poofed
It did. Almost too good. I'm going to make a 28ga Radiator for tomorrow and see if the efficiency gain is consistent between gauges.Looks like yur radiator did great
do this one at even a slightly different wattage for me please heheheIt did. Almost too good. I'm going to make a 28ga Radiator for tomorrow and see if the efficiency gain is consistent between gauges.
I'm abroad on the 30th of this month
OK, so I have to share this. Years ago I was involved in community theater starring in "The Mousetrap" as Detective Sergeant Trotter. The woman playing Catherine played the role as a rather manly woman. At one point I'm questioning Catherine, who makes a point of how she has lived most of her life abroad.OHHH does Em know, shall we call you the three sisters after the 30th.![]()
abroad can change her mind, yes.![]()
They all have to be at the same wattage. I picked 66.6W in honor of Dean the Vaping Biker who likes to vape in 11.1W increments. Sorrydo this one at even a slightly different wattage for me please hehehe
Wow. So, you're not only a squonker dude now, but you were an actor as well. LOVE it!OK, so I have to share this. Keep in mind this was like 1989 or so. OK, so our first "off script" rehearsal, during this scene I say my next line "Were you born abroad?" To which she jokingly responded "No, I've only recently returned to England from Sweden" or something to that effect. I kid you not, I couldn't get through that scene with a straight face right up until our dress rehearsals, and was still afraid on opening night that I was gonna lose it when I asked her that question.
roflmao!!! I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face either. Community theater would be fun to do if I could remember stuff!"Were you born abroad?" To which she jokingly responded "No, I've only recently returned to England from Sweden" or something to that effect. I kid you not, I couldn't get through that scene with a straight face right up until our dress rehearsals, and was still afraid on opening night that I was gonna lose it when I asked her that question.
@Eskie
Since you seemed confused about the Radiator surface area when compared to a round coil this may help.

That's 2.5% difference if you are wondering.
Here's the triple 28ga Radiator I just made for tomorrow. You asked for triple

The air inlets on the Velocity are on the side.OK, I see what you're saying. I guess what I'm wondering more about the geometry of the coil shape as it sits in the air flow. This is gonna start requiring wind tunnel hydrodynamics to fully explore, of which I have teeny tiny experience, other than knowing what it's supposed to do.
And yes, x turns of a known diameter wire may result in the same length used, but not fully explore the interaction of the coil geometry on performance. In the simplest, it's like what's the difference of the same coil oriented horizontally or vertically? Is the air passing around the coil coming from underneath or the sides (and what's the orientation of the coil relative to the airflow)?
In the photo you have above with a dual coil, triple radiator (thank you for making it, very cool look) sitting on that base with a given airflow, which I think is coming from below (?) will there be different interaction between that coil flattened to slice across the airflow, providing a larger surface area directly opposing that flow, versus a simple circular tube for the air to fluidly slip around?
I would think the radiator, if oriented across the airflow, would cause more turbulence to flow, and with that, a differential in how any liquid on the surface is being vaporized (both by altering local coil temp as well as let's call it dwell time, or how long that air gets hung up for, which will effect how hot it will get, and how much liquid will be vaporized in that time) versus a single tubular coil with smooth airflow around the surface. That's hypothesis. I don't do that kind of hydrodynamic stuff to even begin to calculate it, but it does make me wonder how simply changing the geometry of a simple coil from a tubular shape, to in this case, a flattened "radiator" design, alters performance. I guess that's what I was getting to in comparing different coil geometries to performance and efficiency.
The air inlets on the Velocity are on the side.
Here is the first one I made in a Hurricane with bottom air.

Yes same massHa! The 30g radiator did outperform a circular 30g parallel (same mass, right?)!
