This year's governor's race - the incumbent (for whom I'll NEVER vote) is touting that "he's brought jobs to Indiana" but in the last six months, a larger technology firm about 30 miles from here has announced that it's closing up operations and moving to MEXICO. And taxes that were collected and "earmarked" for school systems have found their way to beautifying some walkway.... :sneaky:
Yea, no one wants to pay these ridiculous taxes. That's why Burger King went to Canada. Hope the U.S. doesn't end up like Detroit. That's a true example of what "Entitlement" does.

Indiana's taxes aren't too bad, but it's run by a bunch of "chicken mcnuggets" and holds itself in the highest esteem of the 1960's

I've made some purchases lately, but not so much due to the FDA hammer drop. I live in upstate New York, the highest taxed state in the Universe! I heard a local news report that "due to the recent epidemic of e-cigs blowing up", our governing mafia has to look into taking measures to protect the safety of it's people. How do hey intend on doing that? Tax the living snot out of it I'll betcha...

EDIT: The FDA's nothing compared to Quomo and his Merry Band of Henchmen...
    that's horrible!!!

I'm trying out an RDA today, and I'm having NO LUCK at all with it. I hope someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong... It's a Fishbone Plus, the kind with the little glass tank thing, which is a :censored:!!!!!!!! to get off, but I finally did it. It only took about an hour, and judicious use of a paring knife and then a table knife, a rubber glove, and a 510 connector set in a board to hold it. Oh, and a couple of aspirin. Someone told me I should take one of the three o-rings off the bottom, and I did, and now the glass goes on and off easier. It's probably not as tight, but at least I can get it off.

Anyway, it was sent to me with dual claptons installed, and it's reading .4 ohms. I wicked the coils, tucked the tails down in the juice well (?) and dripped some juice down on them. I got a little vapor and some flavor (but mostly rayon flavor because the wicks aren't broken in yet), and when I put more juice on them, I got nothing. Maybe I put too much juice? I'm getting very little flavor and not as much vapor as I could produce from a cigalike. I have it on a mod set at 40 watts.

I tried looking up videos on this and there are a lot of them, however, the two I watched talked all about the box (who CARES about the flipping BOX, anyway?) and how it goes together, then skipped to vaping it and saying how wonderful the flavor was, apparently assuming that I already know how to use a dripper. But I guess I don't.

Can someone help me troubleshoot? Pretty please?

Claptons need power to ramp up. I would suggest that you up the wattage. I use clapton coils a lot and I really have to give them much higher wattage then say a single wrapped coil. Go up at least another 10 watts and then adjust from there. Hope that helps..

Duh! I read that somewhere, but forgot! Thank you, I'll go do that. :) I was basing my wattage on the coil resistance alone.

But as far as how to USE an RDA, I'm doing it right? I just drip juice down there, put the top back on, and vape, right? It seems like it should be really simple, but you should know by now that I very rarely do things the simple, easy way the first time.

Oh, and I'm good to about 60 watts on a single 18650, right? I normally don't worry about it because I never exceed 40, but if I'm going to go up to 50 or more, I don't want to overstress the battery. (I KNOW I asked this question before, and I'm sorry, but it was the old "Oh, I won't go above 40" thing that made me forget the answer...)

That would depend on what device and what batteries. If your using say Samsung,Lg,Sony and such you should be fine. You will probably feel the device getting warm but that's normal with running higher wattage. Are you using your Target 75? If so your good there as well.

They're good batteries, but I don't have my reading glasses on to tell you which one. The glasses are upstairs and I'm downstairs with a huge warm wet noodle of a cat on my lap, which is making rather difficult to type, I might add. We got these batteries after reading the Mooch thing about which ones were good and which weren't. Dey be yaller. ;) Actually, I used the Fishbone on the new iStick 60 that I just got. I have my iSub on the Target. ;) But 60 or 75, it shouldn't matter, if I'm only going to 50. I just don't wanna wear my batteries out prematurely.

As soon as I can work up the gumption to kick this cat on the floor, I'll go up the wattage on the Fishbone. This is hard, because as you know, our main function in life is to serve cats, and right now I'm a nice comfy bed with an armrest for his head. And he purrs... :)

You should be fine. Yes I do know all too well about being a servant to my furry children! I used to be high up on the pecking order but that changed a long time ago with our first dog and I've rapidly slid down the chain of command!:p:D

Oh, yeah, and as long as I'm still sitting here (ow! now he's PLAYING!), I complained about the leaky iSub RBAs on the Innokin thread and someone suggested maybe I wasn't using enough wicking. I was using the same amount as I do on the stock ones, but yup, that was exactly my problem. I got one and stuffed a wad of rayon in there pretty tight, and (fearing the dreaded dry hit but not actually GETTING one), I haven't had any leakage and it's been over half an hour now. I was getting dribbles on each and every hit before. Siwwy me. Well, at least now I can say I like them again, and I'm happy that I won't have to throw my iSub tanks away when I run out of coils. :D
