That coil is not one for the chain vaper. All the new ones are coming with the big square deck and chimney holes.

Here is Fozzy71's pic from the Merlin thread.

I was thinking just last night of putting mine in the mill to open up the feed holes. :)

oh ok. kewl Thanks

and I find SS soooooooooo much less harsh than kanthal. No way I could ever vape .5 ohms with kanthal. Way too hot and too harsh that's odd
Ive never noticed a diference between Kanthal and SS unless the SS has machine oil on it, then

That and SS is slightly slower to heat up than Kanthal. Mass wise 27ga Kanthal is equal to 28ga SS.

that's funny how all 3 of us have a different take on it. I've tried .7 ohms with kanthal.......same kinda build basically, could not vape it with my fruity juices. Way too hot. I was always around 1.3 ohm duals. Even that was a bit harsh once in awhile. Not hot, just harsh. But .5 with ss is a dream

Just got a Fogger 4.1 and 5.0, anyone know how to wick these so they don't flood? Got a good deal at 70% off, but tried to build the 5.0 with 26 guage, ended up at .5Ω duel coil, but gurgled like crazy. Was using rayon. Pictures (or video) of how it is done would be great if anyone can help. Thanks

This may help with the V4 at least. I have one of each, and did pretty much what's shown there (except rayon) and it worked fine. Never could get my V5 to NOT leak, but didn't really dig into it. (No air leaks when testing, did all the usual stuff. Just don't care for dual coils enough to really get into it. :) )

Review coming soon of the ModFather RTA paired with the Lux Limitless mod !
I'm extending my time at home until Friday as Emily isn't well, so changed it to a Friday flight..

That's what I'll probably use for my cloud comp too :)

Just remembered I have a Hurricane Jr. on its way from Germany. That might work better... Have to think about this.
Take your time Boden as I'm back on holiday soon and it gives us more time ;)

Nope, velocity will do me and that tall tank to me looks daft and will surely mute flavor.. Stock is more than enough:thumb:
Gonna throw some parallel twisted Claptons in this, can't wait.. As for the Lux mod, I've had nothing but negative crap with 26650 batteries, never ran dual 26650 though, we will see, I can always run 18650's in it.. I do have some Basen batteries on order but that will be when I get back.

26650s have lower amp ratings than 18650s because of internal resistance. Good for lower wattage and long run times, bad for high power.

huh I didn't know that. Never really looked at 26650s

But what if you have 12 of them in a series-parallel config? (And a hand truck to cart it around? :w00t: )
then don't stand beside when you blow up!! Don't want Ock icky on me hehehe

@Lannie, did some parallels in the Limitless, they really suit this type of atty...

Edit, Yup, that is a great vape, pull the coils further out and have the air hitting the bottom of both coils. 65w, bang on the money.
