Adding variables to the equation... :-x

Good point though.

Edit: the 75 is a better deal if starting from scratch.
Yeah but the 75 is limited to 6 volts.
and is physically much smaller. Which means on a squonker you could probably place it on the side in the dip between the battery and squonk tank.

More options for button placement.

Here's the thing. I can drown myself in vapor at 42W since I don't like a hot vape. A single lghg2 lasts me two days with my ADV at 16W. I don't need a 200W three cell power supply like the Triade.

ID: BUT SHINEY!!!

Ego: But Boden, you can make a shiny.

ID: I know... I know.. And the leather is gonna fall off. But I want!!

Ego: No you don't.

ID: Your right. (Sneaks off to get bank card)

Ego:  You can't sneak away from yourself dingus!..

ID: *sigh* Dang you rational part of me!!

To be continued..

I'm in a mental bind. Do I get a Triade or two DNA75 and a 200 for the same money and make more toys...

Or do both

This may be the most first world problem ever, well that and deciding what pie to have with lunch.

Man, we are some lucky buggers.

Now, I love my Triade. Using it right now. But if I had the option of a mod like the boxes you've built or a Triade, it wouldn't even be a competition.

Then again, maybe because you build them you're just used to them, but your stuff is in a different league. However, I know it's a lot of work, and if you do want go consumer built, the Triade is a great choice.

As long as your below 0.5Ω it's not an issue. Anyone who buys a DNA 75 to run it at 75 watts all day really bought the wrong device.

So when the ego adapters come out, the slapping starts...

But someone might want to run a 1.8 ohm coil over 20 watts.....

I will not buy anything with a DNA 75 in it.
Then they could use a very nice $25 device to run such a thing...

As I do. No Pico but most of my mods are $25 or less.
Might pick up a Pico or two in the Black Friday sales.
Also keeping an eye out for a single 18650 regulated Squonk mod.
Don't like the styling on the latest one I saw.

I'll have to take it apart one day and totally strip the rubber off it. It should only require a few wipes with a wet paper towel. :glare:

That was one I was looking at. The new model on pre order right now.
Strip it down and powder coat it.

I expect a regulated Pico squokner later this year....
That will be the ticket for me.
