Post it there, post it here... :D

The postal turtle must have died and they are looking for a replacement... Still waiting on my PWM sled from Big Al's and the Alpinetech GXL case has shipped. I ordered a pair of dual battery sleds from Motley mods (20700 & 26650) which are in Chi Town at the moment.

It's going to be a great mod and I hate waiting on vape mail...

Contacted eFun to find out when the hell my Aegis was going to ship, it was ordered on the 14th... "Four to five day we ship" the girl said in the little chat window. :)

I grabbed the Gunmetal version.

Soooooooooooo,

I used a small ... pull saw. I have most every tool under the Sun and this seemed the best choice.

The stuff is really hard but brittle. Took about 30 seconds. Bottle fits.

Job well done Sean!!!

Also............... The battery cover never did really lock into place. Not a big deal but as it rattles it does cross your mind (seriously?? For 300 clams??" Well with the new bottle its snaps closed more betterer.

So far its a huge win and no known loss.

I'm noticing the tootlers and cloud chasers (at least the jerks among them) still take any opportunity to pop into threads and blow superiority farts all over OPs looking for information. Shameful. I figured that old nonsense would have died out long ago.

[EDIT] Seriously, this gets under my skin. There's a thread on the go right now where a member is asking how to get better performance out of his Goon for clouds and flavor and... I'm not kidding, it's actually, literally the same folks from when I was around last time. He's asking about the GOON, and we get "my clouds are just fine on my 40% VG mix, "bruh".

I'll end my rant here, but SAME TEAM GUYS! Now more than ever the world needs us Wompers.

Can't say I've seen that from the tootlers before.

It gets alittle old sometimes but as long as people vape over 30w. under 60w, don't drive a Ford or consume Pepsi products I can generally accept them. Oh an never use Festool stuff either, Dewalt only spoken here. Well and no John Deere either.

So as long as people are vaping at 55w or so and drinking a Coke and have a Kubota I'm pretty open minded.

Well I don't like Stilh people much either, only Husquavana spoken here.

And as long as they have an iPhone, I ain't got much use for pushy Droid people.

But except for those things I don't let much get to me.

    Well...........................

A weeks journey with the Rebel, a story by Sean.......................................

Its light. Very happy ith this. Everyone that holds it is amazed.

The 51 is a little moody. Oddly it won't fire my authentic Goon but loves all the clones. It works with the Dead Rabbit fine.

The bottle is bugging me. Its much two small. and its messy to refill. Its a pain to remove due to the extra long hose. And again its much to small for a mod of the power.

    However..................

A Drone bottle which is a gooder to full bottle and better still can be easily removed with the shorter hose could be made to fit by carefully cutting away a small part of the mod. Now the question on the table is who has the nut to start cutting a 300 dollar mod?? Yeah well I do thats who cause I have freakin had it with that bottle.
    Squonk bottle refill trick.....

Squeeze all of the air out of the squonk bottle....insert tip of juice bottle tight enough to seal. When you squeeze the juice bottle, squonk bottle will re-expand, helping to draw in the juice with no leakage [emoji6]

I get my fill bottles at Harbour Freight, 250ml and they are great.

Trouble with squonk bottles is the top with the hose dripping all over.

Drone bottles are pretty good as long as some paper towels are handy. But the mod is in the clean zone

The 510 fill is something I'm gonna try.

Is the drone bottle the same one in the Therion BF? Mine has been a breeze to work with and I've had zero messiness installing or removing the bottle - I don't even prime the 510. I do try to handle the bottle by the lid and/or nozzle though (especially when full), just to avoid any squeezing on my part.

The Rebel has had a flakey 510 but I worked around it.

Today it worked all day. Charged it and went to fill it and it says 0% battery. Press button and "check battery".

Well an hour of battery swaps and escribe playing and I think shes borked. In theory it could be sent back but the shipping is a bear.

I've bought good and bad mods but this has been the most expensive pile of crap I've ever bought.

Oh well the hunt continues. Looking towards Boxer at this point. May even quit squonking. Which gives me a sad but single battery mods just don't work for me.

That's a shame, really sad to hear it. The Boxer has a 20700 version at least, does it not?

Have you tried the Pulse 22 yet? I find it incredibly power hungry. My personal criticism/opinion is that it's too big for what it's trying to do and would benefit immensely with a good flattening. I haven't seen the 24mm version yet, but I'm immediately thinking it would be the lesser of the two.

Just got a proper look at the 24mm. With a deck built for dual coils this might actually prove much nicer than the 22mm.

Agreed, but still has that OCD bothering two hole AFC.

Honestly it really is the weak link in the design, even though I'm sure the look of it is what makes it appealing to a ton of people. It really couldn't have been hard to keep the tubular airflow design but make it a cyclops hole, right?

The Rebel is dead as a door nail.

But it's a nice case. Anyone know of a place that can install a new chip??

Have you considered asking them to take this one on the chin? Having to pay for shipping on what was effectively a DOA unit seems crazy.
