Built my first PWM mod over the weekend, totally loving the vape from this. I should have made one long ago instead of throwing money at cheap Chi-nee mods.

Alpinetech GXL case, Varitube 30mm V2 smooth top 510, Big Al's iPWM and a Motley 3D printed 20700 sled. I ran out of epoxy and had to use some hot glue, I HATE hot glue...

The GXL case has a great hand feel because of the rounded corners. The iPWM board is full of features and it fires at 25kHz, which is totally silent compared to other PWM boards that buzz.

I'm looking to pick up some 21700's when they become readily available for that extra run time.

Sorry for the low quality pics. ;)

Cool build TD, congrats, is that a Mitec button too ?

PWM mods hit hard and instant, my Surric is the same, you can certainly tell the difference between that and VW

That is pretty. Great job on that!
Thanks Eskie!
Nice tidy looking build. What's the analogue gauge, real time wattage?
Thanks VV!
It's a voltmeter that reads battery level, voltage under load and what your current power level (voltage) is.

Thanks Rixta!
The button was what Big Al had in stock at the moment, I don;t think it's a Mitec but it works good and is easy to press. I'm going to look for something bigger in diameter on the next one.

Totally different vape than a VW vape for sure, I really like it. I think I'll try a NLPWM board next build, twice the price of Big Al's though.

I think Aplinetech has precut cases for the NLPWM too. It's a hard go for me with just basic hand tools to make the cutouts nice, I guess that is why they sell bezels. ;)

Nice!

I just love the RHPS! Too many midnight viewings to count and 2 live stage shows. :D

Tim Curry's best role as Frank N Furter!

Never saw it live. Was just great? Those were the days. We used to sneak out to go to midnight viewings. Surprisingly never got caught.
The live shows were amazing, performed by two different companies.

One show was in a very upscale Toronto performing arts theatre. The theatre management read the riot act to all of us before the show started. The use of lighters or water pistols and the throwing of rice, confetti, toast and toilet paper was strictly forbidden! :w00t: They even had to chase some of the more enthusiastic audience members (in full costume) off of the stage before the show started.
Needless to say the show was excellent and the theatre was left in a complete mess.

At least you didn't stick to the floor like you did at the midnight showings in the Marks Theatre in Oshawa. The occasional clink, clink as a stubby beer bottle rolled down the isle or fell over under the seats.

The RHPS was the only movie I ever went to where everyone was searched by the police after you came through the doors.

Just the opposite here. We were allowed to bring/do pretty much as we pleased. I guess we kinda had live shows - the fun fools on stage acted out whole show some nights, in full costume of course! Couple of them were better than the actual actors. Always a very thick smokey haze billowing out when doors opened between shows. Great fun.
