Sorry that took longer than I thought. Had some "things" to take care of when I went upstairs. The serial number on the bottom of the tank is 4952.
Lannie go to the other board and PM Roxy.
I guess I might have to do that.
I'm not complaining, I'm impressed
Oh. Most people can't stand when I talk too much, and I've never been accused to saying too little.
I've just been there, there was a girl called Amanda that had the same problem and used rayon, she followed the instructions that come with the boreas and it worked fine...Although bottom filling it, I can't see why it would leak, I've done it 90 times (guess, probably more) and it's never done that. Worth a try though.
I bottom-filled it yesterday, but I top-filled it today, so I've done it both ways and it puked both times. It took LONGER to puke on me today, but still... it puked.
I'm a all rayon all the time guy.
I do have a bag of JOC thats good but unused since I fund rayon.
I also have a bag of Native Wicks Plutonium pima thats the same as regular cotton aside from the price.
Lannie you have a bad o-ring or unlikely but possible a bad tank. I have the same build currently and between 30-40w she's a chuckin with no leaks.
OK, then maybe I should get my bag of spares and replace all the o-rings then? Maybe one of the ones in the tank has a cut out of it or something that's letting juice through? They all APPEAR to be there, but looking for black o-rings on a black tank is kinda hard.
Also, I don't think I have mine broken down into enough pieces. I have gotten as far as having the top cap, the bottom cap, the deck, and the bottom-middle piece that has the airflow control on it. That leaves the glass and the top bit around the top of the glass that the chimney is part of. Rixy's picture has more parts. No, looking again, I guess it's just that I haven't gotten the AFC ring off, but would there be something in there that I need to check. Isn't that just metal sliding on metal? And if I need to get it off, how does it come off?
I seen that and I'm abit cornfused.
My best guess is with the high turn over rate these days they got in and got out. The first couple months are the high profit months anyway.
They still had the black ones, so that's why I have a black one.

I figured they didn't want to mess with all the deeming regs, so they decided to quit early and cut their losses.
I used Chutulu tanks for a year. I can build and wick these things in the dark with my hands tied. But I had one that would leak no matter what I did. Over and over. So I finally took a magnifing glass and found a small pin hole in the deck. As I used it the heat thinned the juice and she's pee herself.
But both the decks I used did it. Now, the one with the bigger juice holes might have leaked just because the juice holes were too big, but now I've got the smaller juice hole deck in.
Ive got a really stupid thought but Im out of idea's, what mod do you use this on. if it's a long mod and you have to tilt the tank a lot to vape it, it will flood out, this tank needs to be pretty much upright. Im scraping the barrel now I know
OK, wait, it can't be TIPPED? Like I have to set it on the table and lean down to take a "level" hit off it? Both times it's peed on me, it was EXACTLY when I tilted the mod to adjust the wattage. That's a tiny bit more tilted than when I go to take a hit off it, but REALLY?
If your deck is not equally seated and pushed in to the barrel, it will leak. Also, on the bottom screw on cap, make sure you have a small o ring in there. I'll take mine apart tonight and reassemble and take step by step pics.
The deck is in solid, tabs in notches, and yes, that little o-ring is in there. It keeps wanting to fall out, but I keep putting it back in.

Maybe THAT o-ring is slightly too small? Maybe? Would that do it? That's the very bottom o-ring, though.
And you guys have to let me catch up! LOL! I keep thinking I'm done with this post, and something else shows up and I have to quote and respond!

(Well, I don't HAVE to, I guess. And there's another one. I'm just gonna hit post anyway.
