Back in April, there were some threads regarding the FAA trying to ban any kind of vaping gear in carry-on luggage (I guess it's already banned in checked luggage). I don't know what ever happened in regard to that, but if I were you, I'd call the airline and find out if you can bring vape stuff AT ALL. They might confiscate it (and then sell it, those pukes), and you'd lose whatever you had on you. Please check first, before you risk losing your gear to the TSA.

That (thankfully!) did not go through!

Yea, I read that earlier today. All the places say in the carryon luggage, I want to put it in my purse. I guess that's the same thing??

Purse is fine. I fly A Lot. Carry on and purse in tow. Batteries I'm sure you know how to store them safely, purse or carry on. Same with everything else. Liquids in a ziplock bag and you're good. I still lay my vape on my purse when going through security. Figure they may or may not ask to search my purse so I might as well set it on the purse and then they can just see it easier.

Have fun! :D

Send it to me.
Give me a day or two.
You will get a working tank back.
Tanx for the offer Cooler. @Lannie has already been tucked in for the night, so I'm answering this one. I have her tank on the table right now, totally disassembled, and am going over it with a jeweler's loupe (stronger than a magnifying glass, just shy of a microscope) looking for any imperfections in manufacture or splits in the o-rings, etc. Other than the fact that the bottom o-ring is missing on this smaller deck, I see nothing wrong with it (yet). Don't know if that is still stuck on the bigger deck or if it disappeared in the sink after she cleaned up the last spill. Tomorrow, Lannie can dig out the baggie of o-rings (I don't know where they are hiding at the moment) and we'll try this sucker one more time. If that doesn't work, we'll send it to Cooler Repairs, Inc. :)

Being in aviation, some of those regulations I can understand. Face it, sitting by yourself vaping away the room can get a bit cloudy. Some aircraft have infrared fire detection and clouds will set them off. If a fire detector goes off in flight you have an incident. If that plane has to deviate from its flight because of that fire detection, now you have a NTSB occurrence.

Also if you have 10 people out of 100 who vapes, 9 of them would more than likely vape respectably but you will always have that one dweeb who thinks he is impressing everyone on the plane by blowing massive clouds. The FAA believes its best just to say no and because of that one dweeb, I cant really blame them.

Ahhh I see what you did there... you made up the whole last paragraph.
I just don't fly anymore, too terrified someone will smuggle a nail clipper on board.

Not a single leak, bottom filled it as usual, like I always do. The SS Claptons are a much better vape than the Kanthal ones, they don't pop as much and it's just a perfect smooth draw, maybe it's down to the slightly spaced, the pictures make them look more spaced than they actually are. Had to take my time to fit these in being 3.5mm but it allowed extra cotton to go it, no dry hits and the flavor is better than my last build.

@Lannie Mine just doesn't leak and I still have no idea why yours does :(

Love my efusion dna that I posted yesterday, but where is it now, on charge, can't be dealing with that so I bought the duo instead, I think the wood finish is going to look sooooooo nice. Of course Emma has already claimed the other one lol

Morning All!

@Rixsta So even with the 1300mah lipo in the DNA200 it still dies quickly?
Yes, for me it does, now if your vaping at 40 -50w then it may just get through the day but I'm vaping it at 90w and the charge lasts about as long as a dual 18650 mod would, then it's back on charge for 6 hours, nah.....I can't be dealing with that. It is on of my favourite box mods though, those pictures don't do it justice so I bought the Duo, that can run 2 x 18650 or you can swap that out for the lipo. 133w on 18650's is more than enough for me, much better option and of course the side panels come off, its a win win. Oh and it's just slightly taller but not as wide. Morning ;)

Morning all! @Lannie I'm putting together pics of all the o-rings and a build for the Boreas for you. Be up in a minute or 10.
Bloody spoilt she is LOL

7:30? It's 6:59 here and I've been at work for a while already. lol
No rest for the wicked :)

Lost Vape has a new one coming out. It is a DNA75 dual parallel battery for extended battery life. I do hope they make one with the DNA200 so it goes to 133 watts. Looks nice too!

LOL! I might be spoilt, but I'm grateful for the spoilage! ;)

I have a lot of posts to catch up on, but for the moment, thanks for the pictures, Rixy! Those are great! I DID have more wick in mine than you have in yours (and the tails were much longer), but my coil diameter is only 3mm, so maybe I should make them bigger?

MMW, thanks so much for going to that trouble! I have accounted for all the o-rings, except for the one in your 4th picture, which is under the AFC ring, which I don't know how to remove. I can barely turn that ring, it fits pretty tight. Maybe that would indicate a twisted o-ring or something? These black o-rings are round, so twisting shouldn't be an issue, and given the tightness of the AFC ring, I guess I can assume that one is actually there, so no need to try wrestling the ring off, eh?

I see Rich said he discovered one missing off the deck, so I'll have to go check and see what he's talking about. He's still sleepin' right now.

OK, now I gotta go try to catch up... :)
