It's funny how different things work for different people. When I say I started vaping last August, that's when I bought an Ego One. I immediately cut my smoking down significantly with that. Prior to that I had tried cigalikes multiple times, they never helped me, best they did for me was let me skip a smoke break or two when driving the company vehicle. Without them I stopped to smoke every 45 minutes to an hour if I had to make a trip, and some of those trips were 6 to 7 hour drives. But I couldn't smoke in that vehicle, so cigalikes would let me go twice as far before I stopped to smoke.

But if you stop, who's gonna tell me what the next great atty is that I should buy?:D

OK, seriously though, thought on the Geekvape Griffin 25 Standard version? Worth paying $58 to get that plus an RX200S, or should I just get the RX200S by itself for $38? No idea what that converts to in that fake money you use on your side of the pond.;) Just kidding, that's 44 pounds for the bundle vs 29 pounds for just the mod. Or 52 Euro vs 34 Euro. Deal ends tomorrow, so I need to decide if I'm gonna get it.

You can read about the Griffin in the RTA section, but if you want a big 25 mm tank, this Crius Plus I got is terrific for $20. Top airflow, bottom airflow, gigantic velocity deck, and most important, it doesn't leak. You can find the Griffin alone for ~$30, so I guess you would be saving $10 with the bundle.

Hmmm, that one does look good.

Oh. I never did a DL when smoking.
Most people didn't, and it surprises me how many sub-Ohmers have no problem at all sucking straight into their lungs on the inhale. But smokers and tootle puffers suck into their mouth, remove the cigarette or tank, then inhale, and you can take 6 or 10 second draws that way. I have observed the sub-Ohmers and they seem to take a 1-2 second hit and blow a cloud. To suck longer than that at high Watts would probably burn their lungs to ashes. :) Edit: ...or fry their Claptons...

A guy on a different thread blows crazy clouds. Never seen anything like it. He said he goes through 80ml per day.

I bought some black heat sinks for the Serpent Mini, same as I did with the goblin, (but black), bottom one will just raise it so I can get to the airflow easier and the top heat sink to cool my tip with these Claptons at 45w, it works wonders, it will make the tank bigger but if it's anything like how the Goblin turned out, it should look pretty nice !

I got some black heat sinks for Ms. Boreas and I have to say it makes a big difference in how hot that mod gets if I take more than 3 or 4 hits in a row off it. And it looks nice, too! :)

    Revrah!!!

And actually I find that moving into DL type setups has helped me, I'll often miss one of my "allowed" cigs and not even think about it anymore. I know that isn't the answer for everyone, and I do still very occasionally like a nice MtL, but that has done alot to help me. It's the first thing in the morning one that I haven't been able to skip yet even when I try. Don't know why, but for some reason I can't vape without coughing my head off (no matter what setup I'm using) when I first get up, but after I've had that cig, I can vape no problem. Really strange.

The cigarettes anesthetize (OH HELL, THAT WAS REALLY DIFFICULT!) your throat, so you're numbing it with that first cig, then vaping doesn't make you cough. I was coughing with my first few vapes in the morning, too, for a while, but eventually that subsided. Now I have no problems with it at all.

But if you stop, who's gonna tell me what the next great atty is that I should buy?:D

My word, are you STILL fussing over that? JUST BUY THE BUNDLE, fer cryin' out loud! You're saving $10 after all! ;)

Oh. I never did a DL when smoking.

DL was what made me NOT crave cigarettes anymore. I didn't ever smoke any after I started vaping, but I WANTED to, many times. Once I got my first iSub tank and figured out how to use it, the cravings for cigs went away and never came back. No WTA needed for me, but I'm not the same as you (or Andria), so I don't know if it will work for you like it did for me, but you never know. It just might!

    Neither did I.

I got that saying from @MikeyConti
    Love those purple nurples!
I love all nurples regardless of color. I don't discriminate.

First, sub-ohm and DL don't automatically go together. I was MtLing on sub-ohm coils regularly, and some people DL on 1+ohm coils.

Second, I do take several second hits when DLing, at least sometimes. Often 5 to 6 seconds anyway. Not a 1-2 second hit. If that was the best I could do, I don't think I'd enjoy it.

Also, not all of us think claptons are the greatest. I dislike the ramp up time, particularly on one of my mechs, like my squonker.

Everybody is so different with what works or doesn't work when it comes to this. After the first month with no cigarettes on the crappy cigalike alone, I didn't want a smoke. Now, even if all my vape stuff disappeared, I really don't believe I would start up again.

But I'm sure if I ever snuck just one, I'd be right back to a pack and a half a day.
