First, sub-ohm and DL don't automatically go together. I was MtLing on sub-ohm coils regularly, and some people DL on 1+ohm coils.
Second, I do take several second hits when DLing, at least sometimes. Often 5 to 6 seconds anyway. Not a 1-2 second hit. If that was the best I could do, I don't think I'd enjoy it.
Also, not all of us think claptons are the greatest. I dislike the ramp up time, particularly on one of my mechs, like my squonker.

Most of that was intended to be tongue-in-cheek, but I have to admit you are right. I have a little mod with a 0.33-Ohm coil and I do MtL on it, though it is hard, not because of the coil size, but the mouth-piece shape (it's like a pipe stem). A;so, most sub-Ohm tanks come with huge drip tips and I suspect they (and their airflow) have more to do with forcing DL than the coil size. Claptons? I have considered that a joke from the first time I heard it, but so many people talk about them with reverence that it was easy to throw that one in there. (Apologies to any Clapton lovers reading this)

Everybody is so different with what works or doesn't work when it comes to this. After the first month with no cigarettes on the crappy cigalike alone, I didn't want a smoke. Now, even if all my vape stuff disappeared, I really don't believe I would start up again.

But I'm sure if I ever snuck just one, I'd be right back to a pack and a half a day.

I did have one. About 6 months ago. Actually, just a few puffs. I still didn't want more. Vaping is in my blood now.

Its funny, the original Crius wasnt very good, the Geekvape Griffin clone was better according to reviews I read. Now the Griffin 25 came out and apparently has problems, so now the Crius Plus sounds back on top..

May need to get one sometime.

I do pest control and we heat treat for bed bugs. I usually go in every 30mins to check everything and make sure nothing gets melted or ruined etc. It sucks lol

Lovely Jubbly, nice 0.6ohm Clapton, 42w, flavor is great, really bringing that raspberry and custard out, I didn't thin the wicks out, cut them so they rest on the first ledge, wicking perfecto and no leaks, of course, I forgot to take a pic of them wicks but they were the same as Boden's..

So I just took another puff off that tank about 5 minutes ago. I held onto the armrests of my chair for a little while until everything stopped spinning. I'm definitely holding off on any more until I change the current 24 mg juice over to something more appropriate.

Jup, I had to stop while catching up just now and go make me some 18mg juice. I knew I'd been needing to for a couple weeks, just kept on not doing it. yesterday and today convinced me I need to cut down from 24mg NOW! lol That's good though......just hope the 18 does it. Last time I did that, after a few days I wanted to kill someone. But I think it might be ok with the .5 ohm dual coils. 24 was just too much since I went to those from 1.3 duals.

That's why I'm scared to go to the womp side. I'm frugal.

Honey you know they don't come more broke frugal than me.......once I can get ya set up, you'll spend practically nothing to vape anyway you wanna vape.

You've done amazing........you and kad both!! Don't pressure yourselves. You know the more you try to pressure yourself the worse it'll be. Some folks need a date to make themselves do it.......some need to just gradually cut back. Do it however you're the most comfortable doing it. For me to not crave cigs, I had to up my nic back to 24. Do what ya need to do so you're satisfied and not craving a cig. What both of you are doing now, is a zillion times better than smoking all day!

I was 12 (Marlboro reds), but it didn't last long, then started again at 16 (same butts because I could kype them out of the fridge where mom kept her carton).

Jup.......marlb reds when I could get em....... pall mall non filter when I had to swipe em from dad. Winston (nasty) when my g/f and I had to swipe em from her mom. I started at 12 too. By the time I was a freshman in HS, cigs were 45 cents a pack, and bus fare was 50 cents. If I rode the city bus, I could ride that a mile and only walk a 1/2 mile to school. Walk a mile and a half, and I could buy my cigs!

Don't know why, but for some reason I can't vape without coughing my head off (no matter what setup I'm using) when I first get up, but after I've had that cig, I can vape no problem. Really strange.

I was / am fortunate in not having had any significant health issues as a smoker, said status for about 45 years. Some morning chest rattle - that went away about a week after I became an ex smoker.

And probably fortunate in my transition. For me, since I coule only get down to one of the then 3 shops on weekends, it took a week. My first kit was an ego and top coil refillable clearo, and 18 mg juice. Next weekend, got some 24 and it was like a light switch. Vaping tasted better. About 3, 4 months later I stepped back to 18, where I am now.

I don't plan to reduce my nic ( nic's shown to be effective treatment for a variety of ills that are often age related, so I see it as insurance. Or like taking vitamins. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it! )

Oh. I never did a DL when smoking.

My last few years smoking I was hand rolling pipe tobacco, aboout 30 or so daily. Never DL'd em, so didn't (and don't ) vaping. For me, it more closely mimics the process than DTL. And the process is a significant part of vaping for me. I see myself as replacing one habit with another that's at least 95% less harmful.

When I moved back to 18 from 24, I'd keep the same flavors in both %s. Found that the 24 was helpful in the AM, then mid-dayish I'd switch to the 18. After a while, switch off earlier... and earlier

Blacked out the Limitless Plus and got rid of their 510 adaptor, I used the griffin adapter and now the drip tip sits lower down.
Still my No1 go to tank... Going to try a standard 24g Kanthal wire in here today and see how she vapes.

I had made 120 mls of my betelgeuse clone at 24. Now just made 30 mls of it at 18. If the 18 don't work I can mix some 50/50 in a reo bottle and see what that does.

I have a bunch of my 24 mg vanilla tobacco and vape it down, but if I move over to all 12 mg, so much the better for my prepper stash of nic.

Besides, today is chemistry lab, so I can experiment to my heart's content.

It makes buying little stuff for a few dollars affordable by eliminating the shipping cost. Main thing is a fairly narrow tip to ft the little bottles we usually use.
