I'll have to have words with her !

Right, good Rixy from now on...

I'm reformed again
Holding back big laugh.

bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhhhaaahahaahhhh

Nope, holding that in would have killed me.

On topic: I think I've scienced pretty much everything vaping related. Yup, think so. Time for a break. And a Margarita :D

But maybe not o_O

Cheesy alert !!

I had a moment last night watching a movie. Had the Hurricane, kayfun v5 and Hurricane Jr. All working up to snuff. Sat there thinking 'life is good' :D

Love moments like that.

Yeah, but it would have been better with some cheese. :)

Gold box here, 10 pound for 20 now

Wow, I used to smoke those, too. Saved up all the little proof of purchase things off the sides (I think I still have a dent in my finger where the scissors used to hit it) and sent in about a pound of them to get a fancy wind-proof lighter. Yeah, it's a coil with no wick. LOL! But hey, it works. :) Now if I could just remember where it is...

I have been rehabilitized

Not very likely. ;)

This place wouldn't be the same without your Science, OK question..

My Alien coils, they are 2 x 27g wrapped in 35g NI80, when they are heated up, they turn greenish, proper Alien coils but 2 core not 3...

What turns them green? I know it must be the NI80 wire...is it safe to vape..

Tomorrow I'm going to make some zipper coils :)

Can you link me to the place that made them?

Are they greenish brown?

Huh. I learned something new today! Sometimes more IS better. There's this FlavourArt flavor that I absolutely HATE called "Forest Fruit" or "Forest Mix," depending on who did the label. I got it for one of Rixy's recipes, and then I didn't like it - it tasted like pine sap to me, seriously. It was OK if I reduced the amount down to like half a percent or something. Anyway, today I'm browsing the DIY section and I saw someone link to reviews on that flavor, and I thought I'd go read them. Because apparently I'm the only one in the entire universe that thinks it tastes like pine sap, and I'm still trying to figure out why.

One guy's review said he liked it at 7% standalone, but that it needed sweetener to bring the berry mix flavor out because it wasn't a sweet flavor to begin with. I figured, "Hey, why not? I'll try it!" so I got a little 15ml squeezie bottle and mixed 7% Forest Fruit with 3% ethyl maltol, and damned if it doesn't taste COMPLETELY different! I LIKE IT! It has a sweet dark berry flavor, and that "pine sap" twang is so subdued it's hardly noticeable. I can taste blueberries and blackberries and some other stuff I'm not sure what it is, but it's good. So now I like this and I'll have to use up the rest of my bottle of flavoring. ;) It's quite a cool and refreshing taste, even with no menthol in it. It might be even better with a splash of menthol in it, but I'll have to do that experiment later. I'm just amazed that this flavor that I really didn't like turned into one I love! Will wonders never cease?!?

I've found that for years after you quit smoking your pallet will change. There are flavors I could not stand four years ago but now I really like them. Keep tryin new things, you never know what you might find.

There was one flavor that was supposed to be predominately peach, but other stuff too that everyone just loved from the company I used to buy juice from. I tried it, and that's exactly what I got was pine sap! I told it tasted like pine to me. I wonder if they used that in it!

I sorta got something like that.

I got some samples at the vape show and little by little I working my way through. Some are aweful and some are ok and some are amazing. One had this real fake sugar that left an aftertaste like diet soda that may have scared me for life.

Anyhoo I tried this one called The King. No idea what flavor just "The King". Open the bottle and gagged. Barf everywhere. But I don't waste things more so free things. So I take a drag and I'm talking Exorcist class barfing. But then I'm thinking maybe thats just the smell telling my mind the taste is bad. And thats what it was, the smell. It still smells disgusting but turns out to be a hazelnut coffee and cream thing. REAL good. Like my favorite ever. I only do a little each day to make it last.

And Lannie next time you have a China order throw in a Petri V2 dripper for like 8 bucks. Kinda a crude build deck but workable. I have twin 28ga paraelells at about .4Ω and run about 50w. No tank ever made past present or future will ever come close to the Petri. For other reasons the Petri will never be my favorite but for flavor nothing can touch it.

This Forest Fruit doesn't smell bad at all, it smells good and always has, but the taste of the "pine sap" in there at low percentages was overpowering. I'd love a hazelnut coffee and cream juice, I think. :)

I think I've ordered my last vape gear, unless it's a dire emergency that I have to beg a favor for. South Dakota is putting California and New York to shame with their stupid anti-vape regime. We're not anonymous here, either, so if something came in, the local PO knows exactly who we are. I'm going to err on the side of caution and not order any more vape gear directly. :) At least until all this crap gets overturned.

Deb, it might have been FA pineapple. That stuff IS VILE! I got a little 10ml bottle of it when we first started doing DIY, THEN read the reviews. Apparently it tastes as bad or worse as it smells, and it DOES smell like pine sap. I've never used it and never will. Maybe. Boden said try new things... maybe I should mix a little bottle with some sweetener and see if that fixes it up any. And steeping. I heard that pineapple needs a long steep time.

Look them up and tell me a favorite color and I'l smuggle you in one and mail it on the DL.

Will take a couple weeks so I get some Halloween crap and the dollar store and hide the dripper inside.

yeah they didn't have good reviews on that, so I went with Caps golden pineapple from the start. Just ordered a 120ml bottle of it.
