Wow that's a pile o wire...
It was my understanding that Ni200 doesn't form an oxidization layer between the wraps so that is why they have to be spaced. I am wondering if you are getting shorts between the loops causing your lower resistance.

Wow that's a pile o wire... :D

Yea I had to rest between coils!! ;)
I'm not getting any hot spots or shorting. The thing is actually vaping pretty well. I haven't used Ni200 in a real long time and just decided to give it another whirl. Not something I would build constantly. I might mess around with some combo of SS316L and Ni200. Maybe a fused Clapton if I get the energy or the time. I was also thinking of making some Titanium coils for it as well. We'll see.

If I come across anything worth while I definately let ya know.

That's Kanthal, some SS would be good with the 30% off sale!

Yup probably get both and maybe some ribbon wire to try some things out with.

Saweeeet looking coils!!!
Hi buddy, they perform well, 0.15ohm, 95w..

Look forward to trying the postless deck with 2 x twisted dual Claptons on the Hammer of God, got to get them no lower than 0.4ohm I feel, although the mod is parallel series for battery safety, it's still 8.4v so gonna chuck some ha.

Gotta love these tanks though, I have used nothing else since getting the first one :)

No leaks but as with this design, Supreme, Boreas, juice does collect under the AFC but they have thought about that and unlike the Sup and the Boreas, where you have to dismantle the whole tank, with the Modfather, unscrew the base and lift the AFC off, clean and put back together, that makes a massive difference in every day use.
Just got to pack the bottom of the deck with cotton, the whole lot, juice it up and gently pat the cotton down away from the bottom of the coils..
Another thing worth mentioning, if you put the tank on it's side, because there is no juice control, it will leak, I managed with it on holiday, which was great by the way thanks, well except the burns ha, erm, so yeah, I would say this is at home setup or placed upright in the car, putting this in your pocket and sitting down is a no no..

It's just a really well made, great flavor, big, awesome RTA buddy...

@Boden, skills bro, looking sweet as.......

Thanks Buddy. I'm still trying to figure a way to stop the Boreas from seeping. I've gone through numerous o-rings but can't seem to get one that will stop it. It really is a shame because I like it so much. I just can't Take the damn mess. I've been bottom filling it like you suggested but it still seeps. I'm sure the Modfather is a great tank as well but I wouldn't be able to deal with another seeping tank especially one so big! One of these days maybe but not now. ;):D
