I am amazed at how some of the people who come into the shop, actually even function on a day to day basis... Thankfully they are a rare breed. Most just don't know the basics, but some have absolutely zero common sense.

Like the guy from the local "dispensary" who thought he should start building his own coils. Wanted me to stand there in a busy store and tell him everything he needed to know about it.

The first three questions out of his mouth were...
"Does this have anything to do with electricity? I don't know anything about that."
"So what's this ohms law thing and do I really need to bother with it?"
"I don't have a lot of time, so is it just a matter of wrapping some wire and vaping it?"

I just stood there looking at him... Told him there is actually quite a bit to it and he should watch some proper instructional videos on You Tube. Basic DC electricity, ohms law, battery safety and simple coil building. Especially some of the older Kayfun/Taifun videos to get a good understanding of what's involved.

When I told him that there was just way too much to learn in a few minutes, he got a little miffed and just left. [edited]

We'll be reading about him soon...

And it will be the vaping industry that gets the blame
For sure. I read a news story about a girl who died in the bathtub. The apparent cause was electrocution, caused by her using her cell phone, which was plugged into a charger, which was plugged into an extension cord. Her family is basically blaming the cell phone.o_O

Contrary to what people think of this mod, I can tell you, it's awesome, I love it, it is a joy to use.

    Tesla WYE

    Just first impressions..

Very well made, it doesn't feel cheap, it reminds of the black (rubberized finish) Minikin V2, same feel to it and almost the same dimensions but the difference is, it's much much lighter.

Picking the mod up (65g without batteries) it's as light as a feather, it weighs slightly more than one 18650, it's almost too light. That is until you put batteries in it (dual 18650) and pop a tank on the top, then this mod really comes into it's own, it's the perfect weight, it really is a joy to use and great to take out, fits in my pocket fine.

I paired it with the amazing Kylin in green with a rainbow chimney ha, this tank has also had some negativity (with good reason on Version 1) but I rate it above the Aromamizer Plus, I love this tank, I get such a good vape from it.

My better half tested temp control and informs me it works well, passed the dry cotton test, I don't use it myself but she said it was way better than the Smok T Priv...for example, not sure if it uses the same board as the Nano... TC - SS316, NI200, TI, and TCR

Every time I pick this mod up, I love it more and more, everything else now feels like Im picking up a cannon ball, I rate this over the more expensive boxer mod too, the material on this, is way better.

Not battery door movement, no button rattle and it's a surprisingly solid mod, in fact I did a few drop tests, which I would never usually do, this mod isn't going to scratch or dent, the paint won't chip off, you can wipe it clean easily, it's awesome.

The only thing I wonder is if it will fade over time but it's too early to tell.

The menu system is simple and easy to use, the display is nice and bright, I also like the metal grills on the front under the cutouts. Buttons are nice and clicky and responsive.

For me, I'm very pleased with it indeed.

If you dismiss this mod because you think it's plastic and tacky, you've made a big mistake.

Not a fan of the paint splatter, or of the color options. In fact the one you got is the ONLY color I would even remotely consider.
But it does sound like a good mod.

Never tried a Battlestar, cheaper than the Minikin too.
Taller, slimmer feeling. Solid board... Lots of finishes to choose from. Some even splattered lol

Update on the T Priv, paint chipped off the bottom, fire bar has developed a squeak, usual Smok quality, will be up for sale in the shop tomorrow.
oh that stinks Hope you like the Tesla

Story today, guy comes in complaining about a sub ohm tank he bought, he said it kept flooding and making his throat burn.
Turns out the 30ml flavor concentrate he bought, he put his nic shot in it and put it in his tank, omg !!! I spent two hours with that guy helping him....and putting VG in his juice plus a new coil, scary.
oh good grief! TSTB right there. Too stupid to breath.

Agreed! I love my Minikin V2, battery life for days!

    Oooh... ahhhhh

Yeah, I'm posting this everywhere. So far, it's that good.

The T-Priv, OTOH...The board is fine... the lights are purty... the finish, disappointing (ordered stainless, got silver paint)... it's likely one of the least comfortable mods I own.

Ya know, it bugs me that an Ijoy RDTA doesn't sit a little closer to flush on an Ijoy device...
The RDTA 5S has great flavor, by the way, but it a pain to fill. Half my bottles don't have a long enough tip...
And the PD270 has a less than obvious interface, I'm actually going to have to read the manual in order to figure out how to change the temp when in TC mode. Why does it default to adjusting wattage in TC mode? Ah well, I'll figure it out I guess. At least I'm all matchy matchy with the rainbow thing going on.
