Ahhh, you've fallen victim to the recent enabling in this thread I see. I find it much easier to resist now that I primarily squonk. Nobody talks about squonk gear here. I do have a harder time resisting the enabling going on in the Bonkers thread on the other forum though.

Yeah, but the ones they supply are Kanthal and I want my SS. Best I can hope for is a fused Clapton. A Staple Fused Clapton is not gonna be spun by me. I'm still working on the basics here. Besides, next up I want to be able to make Alien Claptons. Not because I think they're any better but they look and sound cool.

I had a Drip Box. I had bought a Reo and Reo Clone but found that squonking wasn't for me. Picked up a DB a year and a half ago in NC. Fell roght in love. BFed a Sapor and that was one good set up.
The DB didn't last super long. At one point you could get them super cheap but I went in other directions.
I would likely buy a 160 at the right price. Efun Top has them for 30 bucks

Yep, 1 black, 2 white, 1 brass, four aluminum. I should have skipped the white and black, the pain job sucks. But oh well.
So the Serpent SMM landed. What a nice tank. Building and wicking is dead simple, and the flavor is fantastic. Nice warm, smooth vape. I'd put it up there with a dual coil Engine. And it's a nice low profile for the volume held (~4.5 ml). I even like the DT it comes with.
And sitting on my Therion for now. It definitely needs a place to live for daily rotation.

I did convert the Dovpo GX200 into a squonker and I just need to cut a hole in the side panel to finish it. Since it's a pseudo mechanical mod I'm finding it really hard to put a build into an RDA that works for me. I will fire down to 0.2 ohms and has a 20A limit on the chip. I think the big problem is I am using 24g SS430. The resistance climbs while the coil heats is going from 0.2 ohms to 0.3ohms. This will cause the GX200 to loose 30W throughout the vape. I'll have to dig out some Kanthal to try.
