LOVED it!!!! Your research is so thorough, the videos are VERY helpful, the list of suppliers and their prices are AMAZING!!! I went through all of it again just to get the flow into part six and yet again, hats off to you Dan!!! BTW all the supplies i bought was directly from your list of suppliers (i did my separate research of course but nothing i found was able to compete with the prices you found!) AND i LOVED the songs! (Couldn't believe i GOT most of them! =) Thank you for all your hard work!!!

is there a way that we can have this great guide in a pdf format?
Or i'm asking too much?...

Another vote for PDF. I'd like to be able to hand this out to my computer illiterate friends who are really interested in my pv. I'm new so I don't have a lot of answers to their questions.

First of all, sktoris, thank you for that word "great" (happens to be a favorite of mine:)) and for the compliment implicit in your request!

I (in coordination with Smokey Joe, who runs this place) are going to have to give that one some thought. My first reaction is: No. It has been offered here by and for the members of ECF and under the auspices of ECF.

Among other things, I've played loosey goosey with permissions and authorizations for all the photos, videos, and links included. Since most of them have been the property of fellow ECFers and it's only within our small* vaping community, I think I've gotten away with it. Publication beyond that, however, is another matter.

* It's growing, but compared to the world at large: teeny, tiny.

I know some have shared the link to the guide (and to myriad other ECF webpages) with others and may even have printed it out for friends, but that's an informal usage (and is fine with me BTW). Personally, I've wondered whether there is a book in this (I've had a couple others - on entirely different topics - published), but the prospect of obtaining necessary releases is daunting.

Thanks for asking though!

But I understand where you're coming from here. If you change your mind, please let me know! This has got to be the best thing since...PVs!

This work should be required reading for all new members.

Don,

I agree 100% with OTD. In fact, I'll take it a step further...I think all members, new and old, should make it a point to read The Wonderful World of Vaping. The series is both informative and entertaining and regardless of where you are in your vaping experience, you can take something useful from it.

You have produced a remarkable piece of work with this six part series and I commend you for all of the hard work that went into this project.

I don't know who coined this, but the below quote is how I feel about what you have given to the vaping community....

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

Thank you (and all who contributed) for a wonderful and well done job.

"immortalized" - now that is something! It almost overshadows "wonderful" and "informative." Thanks much!

Actually, your "Serenity" Chuck (I didn't know it was called that) was the first photo I ever saw of a Chuck. For awhile, I thought all Chucks looked like that. Are those designs from the Firefly show or the Serenity movie? I watched them, but for my wife and me, they didn't compare to Whedan's first TV series. Believe it or not, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is our favorite TV show of all time. West Wing and House are neck and neck for #2. [All of that is horribly off-topic, but if I can't indulge myself in this thread, where can I?;)

The logo is the one painted on the side of Serenity, the ship in the Firefly series. The text reads "We've done the impossible, and that makes us mighty." which is a line from the first episode. Well, it would have been the first episode if FOX hadn't screwed up and shown the series out of order. It's the first one on the DVD boxed set, which are listed in the correct order.

Don.
Well whatever the reason I couldn't play alot of the videos the other day, it's now working fine. :)

But now, I've noticed that all the pictures posted with photobucket are not showing up, it says bandwidth exceeded, upgrade to photobucket pro.

I figure you would want to know that your labor of love is not showing up properly.

Thank you, rocketvapor! Your references to "vaping history" and "classic" are headswelling.

e cig seminar? Tell me more! As a professional trainer, my curiosity has been piqued.

Don,

See my post, "My PV a Huge Hit at the VFW!" for all the details on the seminar I did.

You might enjoy the last post - the one about the lady vaping the "cherry rum". Too funny!

Yeah, I noticed that yesterday. Sorry about that. The downside to a well-read thread. I bit the bullet and paid 25 bucks to upgrade to Photobucket PRO. Should be OK now.

I read your thread, bought a 306 from electronicstix [clicked the link in your thread] and have been a very happy Skwerl. Next week I'll be getting a 901. For the most part I have been analog free for the last 2 weeks. Thank you for the original thread- it has changed my life and I'm sure it has changed the lives of others.

Mr DonDaBoomVape, Sir, I have six words for you: Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Your guide is both succinct and comprehensive and at the same entertaining. I consider myself lucky that I became interested in the subject at a time where such a useful resource was available.

There is a (very) small business in my country importing PVs, my mother has bought both their e-cigarette models; thanks to your guide it was easy for me to identify them as the DES 902 and 510 (they are called 118 and 112 respectively). Imagine my joy to find out that the two top choices for newcomers were offered locally.

I keep rereading your guide and discovering every times things I had overlooked. I recommend this approach to any other fellow newcomer, revisit the guide, reread it, things that might have not seem relevant to you might become so: mods that seemed wacky gadgets to me the first time I read the guide are now ideas I toy with for a future purchase.

So let me say this to you sir, while I merrily puff from my shiny 901, Thank you once again.

My bad, meant, of course, 901.

Fact #1: I don't know how to edit my own posts.
Fact #2: I am a post ....., at least until I reach 15 posts.:D
Fact #3: Yes, I have seen the preview button, I still missed that one.

I hope those of you, who have offered such heartwarming praise during the past couple weeks, won't mind if we have a group hug. I treasure each and every sentiment expressed (including yours, leeshor the nag;)). Thank you!

In addition to expressing that appreciation, I want to make just a few comments:

Mr DonDaBoomVape, Sir, I have six words for you: Thank you, thank you, thank you!
... Thank you once again.

xybe, you probably can imagine how I feel about a quadruple thank you.:D However, I am Don (or DaBoom, to my ECF friends), never 'Mr." And, unless you know about some knighthood being contemplated by Queen Liz (and I'm not one of her subjects), I'm not entitled to "Sir."

Skwerl, have you tried the 510 yet? I'm curious how you would compare the 306 to it. I wrote about both units, but had no personal experience with either until three weeks ago (the 510). Now I get it! It really is quite something, especially for its size.

And, leeshor, the reason I don't hang out much in the V4L forum these days is that I'm not really into their product line. I occassionally use the KR808D-1 (and Drew at NHaler has been bribing me with his stuff to write a 510, the beginning of which can be seen in his forum).

Thanks again all!

I did not read thru all 12 pages of this comment thread, so I apologize if this has been asked and answered before...

Is there a PDF version of the Guide available? I know some of the videos would have to be left out (or referenced by link only), but I'd like to be able to print it for those not willing (or able) to go online...

Just a thought...
