just got my Lux in the mail... so excited to use it... waiting for that battery to charge is pure torture... TORTURE I SAY!!!!

I used MV a year ago with the sidesho, then switched over to TW Tornado, been eyeing the LUX for a while. My tornado has been acting so poorly, every atty has made all my juices taste like the bottom of a burnt skillet.

We'll see, been charging for about 2 hours... still the red light... CURSE YOU RED LIGHT!!!

Today February the 14th I got a S.Val's gift.

From: ME
To: ME
With all My Love.

Yes, I gave to myself a shinny New Stainless steel LUX ( With Glowing LUX logo)
It arrived on saturday but, I got it today.

It is smaller in size than I imagined ( For me its a good thing) but I have to say, It look soooooooo KOOOOOOOOL :)
I also got two attys, a stainless regular 902 and a black 902 SS and Some empty carts and a usb charger for the LUX.

I attached the SS to the LUX, the regular 902 on a 510 batt that I had laying arround and filled 2 carts with a mixture of VG and plain Water (I use this to Some how clean the attys and my tasetebuds when changing flavors or to vape away the new atty taste) Because it is VG it also help me see the Vapor production of an atty.

Well, to cut the story short, In the couple of hours that I've been using it Im happy with the attys and the LUX as a unit.
now for some kind of review;
The Pros;
The Vapor production is good, the drag is smooth and the attys seem not to heatup so much (compared to the 510s I had used)

The Con;
IDK but the little "Diamond" feel a little loose (this is my first lux, and Im comparing it to the botton on a 510 battery)

The other thing that puzzle me is that for some reazon, the regular 902 atty (I got it in stainless steel) seems to be producing more vapor than the 902 SS (which is only available in black). Beside this, Both attys seems to be working fine.

So far, Im happy with this products and would recomend them to others :)

EDIT: I forgot to mention, The carts hold more e-juice than the 510s which means, more time vaping and less time re-filling :)

Im in no way dissing the 510s, they are good products also and Im analog free today thanks to the 510.

Like Garnoch, I'm cartomizer only. I don't know anything about attys. I tried one without knowing anything about the primer, took an inhale and thought I would never breathe again!

BTW, I just got my "short" cone for my Stainless LUX! I am too happy now. :) :) :)
All my LUX(s) match!! Thank you Tony!!!!

As a new vaper (less than a month) I still have to give cartos a try. They are in my "To Buy soon list" :)

Wow! Less than a month and you found LUX? You are much luckier than I was, or more likely, a much better researcher :)
902 cartos are on my to buy list too. Right now I'm using 510's but can't find any consistency with them.

Ok I've been using the lux batt and the 902 attys for a couple of days.

The Batt life is incredible. This thing wont let you down, You can seat in front of the TV chainvaping for hours and this thing will deliver.

The attys. Well, the regular 902 continues to preform well, and has vapor production similar to that of the 510, but, I had to say, that I like the construction and inner desing of the 902 over the 510.

The 902 SS is the one that somehow had let me a little down. Last night I thougth I had killed it
The atty did a self cleaning, and I detected a burn taste. I tryed to rinse it under warm water. I let it dry and put it on the lux batt, pushed the button and nothing happend. I tryed the 510 batt and finally a 510pt, nothing. Not even a hissing sound. It was late so I let it soak all night on Coke and in the morning I rince and dry it and give it another try.
At first it didn't responded. But after a little frustrated shake, it came back to life.
BUT, I notice that the vapor production has decreased. Even my 1 month old Smoking Everiwere tipe supermini e-cig with its original atty is producing more vapor than the SS.
I'll try something latter and see if it got back to normal.

Ahhh and I ordered a pack of cartos to give them a try :)

@ darktor ... i was doing the "atty cleaning dance" much more that i liked. tried the cartos and really could care less about attys now. the only reason i have to use an atty now is for sample tasting. the only downside to the cartos is finding juice mixes you like that will work in them. so far i have discovered that thick is bad, dark is bad, and people are telling me that sugary sweet juices are my problem. im going to be moving up to 80pg/20vg juices on my next order from the 60/40 i use now.

I am back, this cold weather did lots of damage to my house. A waterline bust and did some flooding making these last week a nightmare.

Oh Tony, I'm so sorry. What a mess to have happen!:( I can't even imagine! I hope your insurance is helpful.

Glad to see you're back. :)

Tony: Sorry about the damage to your house. And glad that You say its all OK now.

Nat and berube:

As I also like to try new things, I got the cartos.
I picked them up at the postal office yesterday afternoon.
I have to say Im not that impressed. They somehow tasted funny And Im not talking about the dreaded new atty taste. It was something else, It was like a metallic/glueish taste.

I'm using two of the cartos, one on the lux batt and one on a PT. By today the one on the lux had lost the sticker and the one on the PT was starting to peel off.
And guess what? the metallic/glueish taste is gone from thet one on the Lux.

I also find the vapor production to be somehow less than any of my attys and The white cover keeped crawling inside the cartos exposing the metal border ( dangerous when it gets hot )

I got arround that issue by getting rid of the white cap and replacing it with the dummy flat tip mouthpiece that came with the Atty (those fit perfectly) now they fill OK.
The vapor is still less than what im used to , but I think In getting the hang of using cartos.
Ill try to post more latter.
