Wow does it get hot @ 70 watts?
My preferred vape is a dense and hot. I like to feel the warmth of an entire full lung hit. My friends always choke on my builds and wattage because it's just too much for them. But for me, it's what I like. I've been slowly dialing it in and after getting my rayon wick perfect in the coil this time and currently I have it sitting at 74w.

Got mine today, have played with it some tonight. I'm a "tootle puffer" so keep that in mind.
I'm using the single AFC, with side air flow, I built a 1 ohm coil with 26ga Kanthal, still waiting on my SS wire to show and don't have enough juice to feed the notch coil on hand.
It's odd. I put the SS over glass tank on it, glad I did as I dropped it on gravel tonight! But fiddling with it trying to get the AFC set up, I've been from shut off to wide open, I just couldn't get where I liked it. I also had issues with the dt being so short! I don't know who started that trend, but they need a swift kick in the privates! I got it to where it was somewhat happy, but just not right, with the AFC half closed. But when I took off the dt and put on a longer one, the one from my Fogger V1, it was another world! I could easily to MTL hits, as long as I was fairly quick about it.
Flavor is unprecedented with it, it's a flavor machine! Haven't had any flooding or leaking issues with it, wish the tank was bigger, but I like the overall size, so give and take on that.
Love the deck to build on, but I HATE the way they did the positive posts. I don't understand why they did the slot all the way across it instead of just two holes the we could capture the wire? I've got it on an Istick Pico and the resistance is all over the place! .66 to 1.7 ohms with the same coil? I'm trying to vape at 12 watts and it keeps dropping to 12.9 down to 11.8 watts? I;ll check my connections here in a bit, but I find this odd.
But it is as promised so far, it has the flavor of a genny, without most of the headaches, just wish they'd have thought out some of the little details better. Bigger tank, a simpler connection for the coil wires and a longer dt in the kit.
I got it for $20, so I can't complain a lot, considering the price of my ZAP when it came out, just hoped they'd put more thought into it.
It is good enough I'd buy it again though.

Now it's been dropped twice, the once on gravel, and today on concrete, out of my pocket "T" pocket, a good drop! Got a little scuff on it The top cap and DT went flying off, but the tank didn't move a bit! Cleaned the sand off the top cap, put it all back together and it was game on! I'm getting very impressed with this set up!
Still wish the tank was a bit bigger, had to fill it three times today, with the high ohm build I'm using.
Didn't get my wire yet, and still don't have enough juice on hand to comfortably try feeding the notch coil yet.
But if anyone wants to do MTL, seriously, change the drip tip to a longer one! Even then I find when I'm chain vaping hard, I get a mouthful of juice from the condensation.
Just like a typical Genny, it's a love/hate relationship. You have to pick your battles, just like in marriage! You want flavor, get one! You don't want to have to fiddle with the coils and keep them from shorting out on the SS mesh or wire rope? Get one!
If you want a huge cloud and do lung hits, get one!
BUT........
If you want a tank for an ADV, this isn't it.
If you are a true MTL vaper, this isn't for you. (I liken it a lot to the Kanger Dripbox, if you fiddle with it enough, it's workable, but it's never going to be right.)
If you don't want to carry a needle bottle, syringe, or have lots of patience to fill it, this is not for you.
It's great in a lot of ways, and leaves a lot of potential open for a lot of different things. I'm looking forward to having the time to do a dual vertical coil build on it, at a higher resistance. I also look forward to doing some SS builds on it.
Had I bought it and used it as is, I would not have been happy! But fiddling with it, changing the DT, you must use a larger O-ring, or pack the o-ring with dental floss, to get one to fit tight.
Flavor is on par, or better than a KFL, but it's harder to build IMO, and doesn't hold anywhere near the juice. Nor am I sure it will "travel" as well as a KFI.

Hey guys, I am a wussy when it comes to vaping. Not a sub-ohmer or cloud chaser. I Usually vape mouth to lung at 10 watts using 1.2 ohm Kanthal. Prefer tight-ish air flow. Is this the tank for me? I like the top coil feature; better throat hit. Thanks in advance.

It's not the best for MTL, I'm a KFL vaper and I've gotten it do somewhat be able to MTL. I've got a 1.5 ohm build, the single air hole closed half way, any more than that and it tastes burnt, using the side air method. I put on a longer drip tip that works better with my style of vaping. The short one I was drawing in air through my lips.
Just depends on how much you care to fiddle with it to find your style. But the flavor is incredible!

I like my airflow pretty restricted. Probably even more than @sawlight, so I made a few modifications. First, dumped that short, wobbly drip tip and made a longer, tighter fitting one. Drilled a small air bleed hole to make filling easier and prevent any vacuum lock (don't know if it really helps here, but I do it on the Nectar rdas). And made a delrin AFC ring to replace the stock SS one. This has a 1.8mm hole that I can center over the coil. Tried the other position where airflow is directed through the block off piece and under/behind the coil, but its not as good. Also using a 3.5mm SS coil at about .6 ohms mounted high and close to the center post.

Thanks for sharing your modifications - as always, it's great to see you! Is that a GT-2 in the middle picture? ;)

I watched Suckmymod's video and noticed his coil placement was way higher than mine was. So I re-did it and now it's vaping fine. It came out to 0.85 and I vape it at 35-40W. It's still too airy for me and the flavor is not even close to my normal set-up, but it's good enough to go into my rotation and I can abort my original plan (sledgehammer).

There is one more thing I want to try. I'm using a Clapton atm because I wanted to mimic what Suckmymod did, but honestly, I've never been a fan. I vape a high PG juice, and for me Claptons feel like they over-cook my juice...not to the point where it tastes burnt, but flavor always seems muted (like when you over cook veggies).

So for my next build I'm going to use a normal kanthal coil.

And I have to say I love the form factor...I'm a big fan of tiny tanks. And yes I had to switch out drip tips, but most of mine don't fit properly on this Atty.

PS: Wicking couldn't be easier (I cut them short...about half way between the divider and the bottom).

I had some issues today. I dropped my Pico/Theorum twice Saturday, once the top cap came off, but not dent's, ding's, cracks or chips. I've been using the SS covered glass.
Today I wanted to change juice and build a 22ga SS coil for it. So I go to take it apart, the glass was VERY hard to get off, then I washed everything under cold tap water. The SS cover just slide right off! I wasn't real pleased with that.
I built a SS coil, 22ga with like 15 wraps, too big, I get it, but I was experimenting. All was fine, vaping away, then I hear the "ting". Look and the glass was cracked top to bottom! Again, no chips, no scratches, it wasn't even leaking, but cracked all the way down!
I'd heard the glass for the SS was thinner and this is what caused the problem so I broke out my calipers. Nope! New tank measures the exact same as the broken tank.
I've sent an email to Wismec, but I'm not expecting to hear much, if anything, back from them.
I put one of the notch coils in and new glass on it and it was fine for a tankful. I'll see how it goes next time I fill it up, but I'm pretty disappointed so far. Only had it three days! If it broke when I'd dropped it, I get it, but two days after to have it all go wrong?

Yea, that's one of my gripes with this atty. It's so tight I feel like I'm just about to break the glass as I pull it off...it makes me really paranoid and it's not a pleasant experience lol. I know it's not a popular idea, but I wish they had a polycarbonate tank option.

Love the idea of the delrin AFC ring. Really need to find a way to do this myself.

It's really hard for me to take the tank off as well.

Are you guys pushing the center assembly out by thumb as opposed to pulling the glass?
The first disassembly was much more difficult though

I've been hesitant to try it because my coil now sits high up and my thumb would probably move it. I suppose I can try a pencil or something. I'm hoping that, with time, maybe it will loosen up a bit.
