There doesn't seem to be a lot of love for the 808

I started with a Greensmoke (808-D2) cigalike and have used tanks and cart-tanks. I filled my own Greensmoke-compatible cartos and ended up buying four 808-D1 batteries (808-D1 seems a more widely used standard) and still find the 808-D1 setup with a cartomizer to be the easiest, most consistent vape of all of them.

The only downside in my opinion is the cost. I rarely refill cartomizers for practical reasons, but given the time and money one can spend on exotic attachments and materials and putzing, it seems like that's really a wash.

I love the 808's! I have 12 different starter kits and 5 have the D-1 configuration. I'm a shut-in so I've never had a problem with batteries dying on me while I'm out and about. I charge maybe twice a week because I have a pencil box with 12 batteries that I hit when I feel the urge. The rotation has kept me from killing batteries and carts like I would if I only had a couple of batteries.

I've been with the 808 for 4 1/2 yrs. Tried many variations and the new Zeus & smileomizer is by far the best. Long lasting and great vapor production. I use a 900 and 1300mah batteries and have never run out of charge in a 24hr period. I'm a chain vapor and longevity is important. I fill 2 3.5ml and 1 6ml smileomizer before work and it last until I go to bed. Very easy to deal with and I have no intention of changing.

I also use the Zeus from vape4lifev and am very satisfied. I got the 1300ma at 5volts with a 2.5 ohm smilomiser. It gives me 10 watts and last over 12 hours of chain vaping. At 6$ a piece the smilomisers last me at least for 25 refills and that's great. Now to find the e-liquid to complete my setup......
