There is no evidence that vaping can help you quit smoking.

Is there a published article in a peer reviewed journal that favors to ecig users?
I am not positive, but I think this is the only one so far...
BMC Public Health | Full text | Effect of an Electronic Nicotine Delivery Device (e-Cigarette) on Smoking Reduction and Cessation

But there are quite a few others that are underway now.

If you consider yourself an evidence, please, submit your success strory to CASAA.

Yes, this is important, and stories of our success can help electronic cigarettes gain legitimacy.

I have a question for thoes of you who say I am evidence. If for some reason your right to have an ecigarette was taken away (bans or something). Would you just be done with nicotine? or would you be forced to start smoking again? I have asked myself this question. I think that I have cut down my nicotine levels enough that if I didn't have access to my ecig, I could safely just give up nicotine altogether.

I'm afraid to even contemplate that scenario because I really don't know. I don't want to have anything to do with cigarettes ever again, but in the absence of vaping I'm not sure if I'd have the willpower or fortitude to avoid a relapse. I would give it my best shot though.

I loathe the idea of succumbing to smoking again.
