There is no evidence that vaping can help you quit smoking.

I am evidence.
I broke the dam.

ETA: Over 30 years of smoking. RYO, cigars, pipes. I went the route of not inhaling for about 10 weeks but it still felt weird. Mind you, I did not inhale pipes or cigars but I still smoked cigarettes on the days I smoked non inhale-able tobaccos.

I might smoke an occasional cigar. That's mostly a social thing when doing photography for my local tobacconist when he holds events. I have to say though that I have not smoked one yet since vaping for the past month. Nor have I smoked anything else.

I have a question for thoes of you who say I am evidence. If for some reason your right to have an ecigarette was taken away (bans or something). Would you just be done with nicotine? or would you be forced to start smoking again? I have asked myself this question. I think that I have cut down my nicotine levels enough that if I didn't have access to my ecig, I could safely just give up nicotine altogether.

I don't think forced, and while its nice to think/know I haven't smoked now in over a year, if I'm being honest and realistic if tomorrow I woke up and all my gear, devices liquids etc had vanished and could not be replaced I'd be lighting up before noon. Not a happy thought altogether, but that's the truth and that's why Im relatively prepared for a vapocalypse. I'd like to have about 3-5 years worth on hand, so that if they ever move to seriously curtail vaping, or ban it, I'll have a few years to come to grips with it;) I have to be prepared though, those ANTZ want to kill me, literally!

Weird isn't it? It always sounds like they want people to be healthier, but me? They want me dead. I hate to be judgemental but I think that's just mean!

My sister is evidence. A co-worker is evidence.

I am weak, and only half evidence.

Having a mom who died at 63 of LC, all of you as evidence bring grateful tears to my eyes for e-cigs, especially those of you who smoked for decades!

You are not weak. Addiction is STRONG. Keep trying,,,,,,,,it will happen. And remember,,,,,,you cut down to half!!!!!! It can only get better!

I am evidence. I mean, rock solid, bullet proof evidence. I smoked Marlboro reds mostly, for 31 years, and quit cold turkey. Quit after thirty-one years. Quit after 3 decades. Quit after 372 months. That's more than 11,315 days. More than 271,560 hours. More than...well, I think it's pretty cut-and-dried. If that's not evidence that vaping 'just works', I don't know what is.
