This actually causes me concern about both the CASAA AND the Senator.
It is common knowledge that No One "in power" pays ANY attention to on-line petitiions. Same for you just cutting and pasting some form letter and typing your name to it.
An email from you in your own words to the party in power or a phone call to their office is supposed to be much more effective.

There is no doubt petitions are pretty much useless, but from my understanding CASAA gave the okay for this one because, unlike others this one is targeted to a specific goal.
The author claims he will present it to legislators first hand as he has a sit down to talk to them.
I still have doubts, especially after watching a video with him as he seems just a wee bit on the whacko side with some grand conspiracy theories. Signing this one seems harmless enough, unlike many others that likely do more harm then good.
