lol. I am not a scientist so from a layman's point of view everything on this planet is made from "natural" ingredients. Before humans made things there was only what nature made therefore all is derived from that. Pet peeve of mine. Makes me giggle every time I hear products advertised as "made from natural ingredients". Really? If it is "made" it is not natural.

...But, it IS used in antifreeze and deicers...

Factoids on their own aren't helpful though.

Isn't VG normally mixed with the infamous dihydrogen monoxide, favoured coolant for nuclear power plants, and the substance responsible for sinking the Titanic?

Pretty scary stuff.

Medical Uses

PG has been used as the aqueous-based chemical additive in asthma inhalers and nebulizers since the 1950s, with no serious side effects known. PG, because of its water-retaining properties, is the compound of choice for delivering atomized medication. It is also a common diluent for injectable medications, constituting 40 percent of the intravenous form of Phenytoin, an anti-seizure drug.

I Cut and Pasted this into my email I sent to them :) Hope you don't mind?

this statement thow it is not false is bad for the vaping community as a whole propylene glycol is used in e-liquid and also is used in antifreezes to make it safer for the animals and the planet, you are getting a LOT of bad press for this! it is being passed around the vaping community and will get around quickly as we are a close nit of people and look out for each other

Vape Wright sells only VG(Vegetable Glycerin) E-Juice which is made from plants, as compaired to PG (Propylene glycol) which is used in automotive antifreezes and de-icers used at airports.

Propylene Glycol (PG): It is a colorless, nearly odourless, clear, viscous liquid with a faintly sweet taste. It is a common base solution used in a range of pharmaceutical products and a food additive
Vegetable Glycerine (VG): Again Vegetable Glycerine, like Propylene Glycol, is a common food and pharmaceutical additive. It is used to provide similar functions of bulking, diluting and stabilising a range of common products.
