Some people are saying the Provari performs better and some are saying its the same just better quality product. Does it truly perform better? If so that would be a good reason for me to get one. If it is just because it is indestructible then its not big deal to me. I don't toss my mods around, I am careful with my things.

Yes, Provari seems to perform better.

Provari's a nice unit to deliver consistent power. But I don't think it's necessary. I just keep a fresh battery in my regular REO and it hits all the same. What you put on top affects performance the most.

So you are saying a Provari will not improve my vape experience? It seems like the Provari is the iPhone of the vape world and these new devices are the androids. Androids have more features but the iphones just work.

It will improve it in the sense that it will just work, and it will work consistently through the battery charge. Its also accurate to what voltage you set it at.

But it is just a battery tube. The real working end is all at the coil and how it is setup.

No it's subjective whether it will improve your vape experience. It would improve the experience because it will always deliver the voltage you set it to until you have to change the battery where in a non-regulated device like a normal eGo, the voltage will go down as the battery gets lower so you might not get as vapor because it's not burning as hot from the start. But in my 3.7V Grand Reo, I notice when the battery is about to die, it does so abruptly so I just switch the batteries out and I get a fresh vape.

I do not think your analogy of iPhone and Androids is a good fit because unlike a smartphone that does everything, a PV only has one job, to fire the atomizer.

I currently have a Vamo and that is the device I am comparing it to. So as far as comparing it to an unregulated device, that is not a factor.

And my analogy of comparing the iPhone and android was in terms of features such as VW or a puff counter.

IPhones get stolen all the time. Androids? I don't know.

If you leave your Provari lying on a table no one will know what it is. Mine looks kind of like the memory eraser in Men in Black. Still, I keep it in my pocket when out in public.

It's funny how we think in terms of dollars when we shop for mods. Most of us bought a Provari every month when we bought cigarettes. I smoked a carton a week and spent about $150 a month. My Provari has worked flawlessly since last April and I don't plan on having to buy another one for a long time. It's under warranty for two years. Yes, I spent the extra $24.95 and thought that it was money well spent.

I've never used a Vamo, but I've read that it works fine as a PV device. People have been wanting VW on a Provari, but I don't see the redundancy of it, 2 different ways to reach the same voltage/wattage results... And things like puff counter, who cares really.. You just need the PV to deliver the set voltage power and provari does a good job at it. But it's not like you will see much difference from using a carto tank on a new eGo then swapping it to provari to have it produce more vapor or flavor.

I don't have a vamo but reliability is definitly what makes Provari so damned good. I have 2 of them.

Well that and when you need to get it fixed, for whatever reason, you're dealing with someone who speaks your language with your idioms on the other end of the phone. That and the Warranty - that a lone is HUGE is this industry if you think about it.

If you have the money to spend on one then it is a no brainer. I have a vamo as well and I still use it, but you can't understand the quality of the provari until you hold one. You will not miss the VW. And the provari does vape more consistant than the vamo. You know that awesome helicopter sound you get when you vape the vamo? That is the highs and lowes of the PWM. The provari does not do that, the PWM is much more accurate and smooth. Another thing you don't get with a provari is battery end cap threads that sound like there is sand in them.

I sold my vamo after less than a day. provari is the most accurate apv on the market. the vamo is not nearly as accurate. also the vamo cannot be repaired like the provari. I wanted something to last my a lifetime and like the provari so much I will most likely order a second down the road. after holding a provari illl never buy a cheap chinaod again especially after reading of the countless problems they seem to have over time

Any input?

On the Efest batteries? Get the AWs...youre putting them in a device youre holding and triggering inches from your face. AW might not be the longest lasting battery in terms of MaH but its definitely one of the most consistent and reliable.

Check out RTDVapor.com for your batteries and charger.....WAY cheaper than Provape. I love the Provri but their prices on anything else are ridiculous.
