Here's my 2 cents on a couple of Inawera Tobacco Absolutes:
First off I bought both TA's from BullCity on my last Hangsen order on recommendations in this thread.
On June 28 I built a 60/40 base with no nic then added 5% IMW Virginia TA. Mixed it like I mix all my juices then let it steep. The fact it wasn't murky sent up a red flag. After a couple weeks I had a taste and it seemed real sweet but had a little grassy taste to it. Let it sit a couple more weeks and a few days ago I made 20ml tester with 14mls No5 and 6 ml Virginia TA, added the nic to make 12nic, mixed then let sit a few more days. This morning I decided to fill up a 1.5ohm protank build and give her a whirl. Utter disappointment with this Virginia TA. There is no flavor to it, all I can taste is a bit more grassy No5 with no sharpness or edge along with now being real sweet. I'm going to end up mixing the Virginia with some RTS TA to add the sharpness that its missing and try to cut the sweetness down. Too bad I bought 2 bottles.
Same scenario with the IMW Garuda TA, 60/40 base, no nic and a month of steeping. The initial look of this TA is that its murky, good sign. I had a some tastes during its steep period and it does taste nice but it has a little more dirty taste than grassy. I did the same 20ml sample with 14ml Desert Ship and 6ml Garuda, added the nic to offset the TA. This has a nice sharp grassy flavor with a barely noticeable dirt taste but still no where near as strong as the RTS TA at 5%. I will definitely buy the Garuda again since I will go through the 10ml bottle rather quickly. I already have the Garuda concentrate used up and steeping so its ready when I run out of the old stuff.
INW Virginia--- will not buy again
INW Garuda--- will buy again
